This should solve some Issues a lot of people seem to have when working with Maya and trying to use Quixel Bridge. I assume this goes for Houdini, Blender, Cinema4d and so on as well, not tested yet however.
I'll be trying Houdini in a couple of days.
I uninstalled Quixel Bridge and deleted my Megascans Folder (250gb) that I had used with Unreal before, maybe this might help you as well, but I think you can skip that part.
Make sure Maya is closed during Installation.
