A quick fix for the following Premiere Pro errors:
The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCP110.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.
The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCR110.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.
The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCR100.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.
I think Microsoft might have removed something in a Windows 10/11 update and caused this issue.

I was so confused when i couldn't open premiere, i restarted the pc, tried re-installing premiere and even downloaded a program that was supposed to help. Literally watched this video and got it done in less than 5 min so thanks a lot, this is amazing

@@baggiestsheet2584 I used the windows download on my main desktop. But I tried the dll file on my laptop. I had just installed Windows 11 and had the same issue. The second option is a lot more messing around as you have to get the exact files which can be a lot of searching and back and forth. The dll files seem to be clean as no antivirus detects anything. But you never know. So I would avoid it where you can.

Your video was the first result in my Goolge search on this problem. Worked like a charm, downloaded from Microsoft, selected repair and now Premiere Pro is running again - sweet 😁

I honestly wasn't expecting so many people to have the problem! I thought I was one of them really unlucky people who got stuck with it. Apparently it's quite a major issue at the moment. I'm glad it was an easy fix for you as well. The Microsoft option is by far the best as the second one is a fair bit of extra work,

For me it was another realease of Visual C++ that was missing, but since you pointed out the problem, I installed all versions and finally my Premiere Pro was able to start. Thanks!

This actually fixed the problem I’ve been having for the past 7 months, not sure why but I suddenly started getting this problem and running the vcredist didn’t fix it the first time, nor did the one inside of the adobe folders, so I’m pleased that you finally provided the correct link. As much as Adobe likes to break things, I think this one is Windows doing the breaking. Somewhere along the line, a Windows update has removed the important .dll files. That said, you'd think Adobe would have them included in their installation files... I'm glad it worked for you :)

Sooo, if one should happen to do all these steps including the "if you aren't so lucky" step, and it still does not work, do you have any tips beyond these two levels of trouble shooting? Done both a few times now and nothing has changed. Both AE and Premiere Pro do not work, Photoshop does though. THank you for putting this video together, I wish it was the fix for me...dang.

I would uninstall all your Adobe stuff do a system restart. Then check for any windows updates. If there are some updates id install them then restart again. Then I would go and install the Microsoft files from the video. Do another restart. Then finally insall my Adobe stuff. A fair bit of work but it's pretty much a clean slate.

@@JASHIKO_ I uninstalled all Adobe products, I restarted. I updated windows, I restarted, then I restarted just because...I reinstalled adobe. I still get the same "The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCR110.dll was not found." Do you have any other suggestions? This has now eaten into my timeline to get videos finished and I have no idea what else to do, and stressing out now...ugh...why did this happen??? thank you for anything I might be able to try.

What are the odds one of the other adobe programs is causing problems? What happens if you just install premiere? The only other thing I can suggest is trying ccleaner when you have you installed everything. Run it then restart and install. It's not the greatest tool but it might get you out of this one.

That's exactly what happened to me. One day it was working fine. I wake up and use it the day after and this message was showing. That's why I suspect a background windows update may have done it.

I had just bought an Adobe CC subscription because I thought my school license had expired (but I could open other apps except PP & AE) however it didn't change anything. This video helped perfectly, I'm guessing a Windows update screwed it up

The repairing of this C++ distributable was all I needed, great video explaining the issue. I also like that you mentioned to the viewers that some of the DLL's can't be verified for authenticity (like not coming from a reputable company like Microsoft's site). That was very responsible of you.

Thank you for the help, going into the Programs and Features menu in Windows + clicking "Change" (I hope that's the correct translation, the one next to "Uninstall") and then "Repair" worked perfectly Edit: Just reinstalling the files did not help, had to press "Repair". Was looking for quite a few minutes :D

Just happened to me, it is definitively Windows removed the dlls or somehting. Totally their fault, my process involved an additional step: 1.- Download Visual Studio C++ 2012 again. 2.- Restart - It still showed me the error 3.- I selected the installer .exe file again and clicked on Repair. 4.- Finally able to open Premiere :D Thanks man!

I'm quite certain Windows removed something at some stage as well. It was working one day then not the next. The only thing that could have changed in that time was a Windows update. Thanks for listing your process! I'm sure there will be a few people with a similar issue in the coming weeks.

Thanks for this video, I tried updating Windows, no change...Creative Cloud Update didn't...used your video and selected the x64 version. I was impressed the installer gave me the option to "Repair" and that worked! Adobe Premiere Pro 2021 works again. Coincidentally mine would hang at the GoPro something plugin for a minute then load before...now Premiere boots right up! THANK YOU

Just in order to save some time to non-english Windows users and non-english Adobe users, i had to install the ENGLISH DLL FILES to be able to launch Premiere. The french DLL didn't seem to work even after reboot. Thanks for the help.
