Poor posture is the number one problem throughout the world that leads to spinal degeneration, bulging disc, disc herniation, arthritis, pinched nerves, and pain. This exercise is a simple and very effective where you can do this at home or while traveling.

Just went to the physiotherapist this week for neck pain and it’s exactly what he diagnosed for me : rounded shoulders with the back of my hands facing front. I’m going to add your exercise to the routine proposed by my physio. Thanks !

Well, as a programmer, people are not paying me for how many lines of code I write (and if they did I would quit), but for the 10 years of my life I had to put in to learn how to do it. If you don't' want to pay you can go get an education in physical therapy and do it yourself :( Although I do agree the prices are a bit off.

​@@shahyfayoumi4602basically when you train a muscle,the muscle fibre breaks,to repair itself it needs at least 24-48 hours meaning you don't train that particular muscles again before a 2 day rest

There is a treatment for posture referred to as “doso shocking guide” that you could lookup on Google. I`ve been suffering from poor posture with agonizing slumped shoulders however this made a huge difference. Really makes me hold good posture which is helping with back problems.

Excelent video. I have a quastion: This can be done with winged scapula? Or i need to treat that first? If I do this exercise I feel that i cannot control the scapula and the movement is not right

If you lighten the resistance you should be able to perform the exercise.

So all you did is show us band pull aparts which took you 4 minutes, really expected 3 or so exercises...

What if I do this exercise with my arms in neutral grip position, rotating them until the palms face up? Will this help my lower and middle trapezius involved/activated more?

Just search for training resistance band or sth like that. You'll find a lot of stuff. For this exercise you skills use a rather light band :)

I've got 2 resistant bands, one being a purple/pink one which is weak in strength and I've got a blue which one which is slightly strong, any recommendations on which I start off on ? I haven't done this for like 4-5 months. The purple band goes further around my back as I have my grip at the very end, the blue band has a thicker feel to it and can't flex it as much. Any ideas ?

Had been fed up with my poor posture at all times, and one day made the decision I need to do something about it. My back pains were long gone after I tried out “doso shocking guide” posture treatment that I found while looking Google for posture advancement materials. Keeping good posture while standing and avoiding slouching is simpler if you use this resource.
