Do you struggle with wrist pain? UGH. Not fun. I know how you feel. I had terrible wrist pain when I was in the final stages of publishing my first book. 276 pages of words and edits were not the best for my wrists. By the last draft, my wrists hurt so much I could hardly type. I was determined to find a solution. I believe movement can be medicine and discovered several stretches and exercises that helped alleviate my wrist pain. I want to share these helpful movements with you so that you and your wrists can feel better.
Symptoms of wrist pain can range from a dull ache to pins and needles, swelling, disfigurement, and tenderness depending on the issue.
There are several reasons behind wrist pain, some from a direct injury others from more serious conditions. The most common cause of wrist pain that I see with clients is repetitive stress. Too much time spent on tech typing, swiping, and holding on to stress can cause your wrists to become tight, tense, immobile, and inflamed. Your wrists work hard everyday and sometimes they pay the consequences.
But don't worry! Pain isn't permanent! And you can take action to help yourself get rid of wrist pain and feel better (without having to give up your computer).
There are several exercises for wrist pain that can help and these will vary depending on the issue. I want to teach you a few simple techniques that you can use to get rid of wrist pain, keep your hands injury free, and perform well. Everyone's wrists are unique and building an awareness of how yours function will help you create personal hand care program.
This video can help you gain relief from wrist pain symptoms by helping to decrease inflammation, boost circulation, and ease tension in the muscles in the hands, wrists, and arms. These techniques will help you if you suffer from: carpal tunnel, wrist pain, arthritis, tendonitis, or other hand related pain problems.

Spent almost the whole day on the computer at work - my right wrist felt awful and it wont go away. Tried this exercise, the pain is still there but its so much better now compared to before. Thanks for sharing. I really love your energy

It really worked, I was having wrist pain for 1year due to gym weight and pushups, I stopped the gym for 15 days and did this exercise in morning and at night before going to bed, in 15 days my 70%pain was gone and in the next 1 month my pain was gone totally, and I feel my wrist like before (very powerful) totally it took 45 days to get my wrist working freely and I do this exercise daily 2 times in morning and at night before going to bed even my pain had gone. That’s encouraging! I’ve been doing Pilates which includes a lot of pressure on my wrists. Part of that is push ups.

I play alot of games and my right wrist would hurt alot when shooting a basketball which I love to play and after the first few stretches my wrist felt so much better. THANK YOU

I've been drawing and animating everyday for almost a week, with no wrist pain. I decided to take a 2 day break and my dominate wrist has been hurting, but I felt a lot more relief after this! Thank youuu.

I’ve been exercising 6 x a week so far for 4 weeks and this week has been real bad on my wrist. It feels so much better. Will definitely be doing this throughout the week

For over two years I have been doing your exercises and my wrist doesn't hurt anymore. One day I went to the hospital in excruciating wrist pain and I went to have x-rays. The doctor told me I had two options: one to get a cast and if it won't work then I'll go for an operation. I got my wrist cast but later I took it off by myself- a co-worker told me his wife worked for over twenty years in the dairy department at a grocery store and had the operation and her wrist got worse she could not move it anymore. So I decided to go for either one instead I do your exercises every day at night and it has help me a lot. The bone is a little out but it is something I would have to live with. It would be worse for me to have a useless harm. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR DEDICATION AND GOOD WILL TO HELP OTHERS CAROLINE JORDAN ALL THE BEST FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY AND MANY BLESSINGS. Thanks kind lady, I came here because my right wrist has momentary aches when I do push ups, or tricep dips with a chair, anything that puts pressure on it and you taught me the importance of something I didn't expect at all, the tricep itself and how it impacts the rest of the body tension wise, your stretch felt really good for me, my arms are pretty tight in that area. You're great.

Thank you. I am recovering from a badly broken wrist (7 months out!), and even with frequent exercises and lots of excellent PT, I am still struggling to regain mobility and range of motion. I have found these stretches really helpful, and your enthusiasm is heartwarming on a cold and dark day.
