This is the "combo-less combo". Supposing you have enough MP, you can choose what skill will be cast consecutively when you click two skills in sequence. In this case, I have 300 MP; I use MP Charge and then click the skill Maximizer. This will make the character cast Maximizer right after the MP Charge animation ends because I have 300 MP before MP Charge ends to cast Maximizer.
You can choose any skill to cast consecutively, but when you cast a skill registered in a combo, you won't be able to change it and must wait until the combo ends. This can only be done if the two clicked skills in sequence are different.
[RIGHT, THE MAIN POINT]
Here, the Emergency MP Heal did not activate even though I have 0 MP. The registlet Maximizer Converter makes the MP cost of the skill Maximizer zero since it turns into MP Charge if the condition is not met. By that, if I click Maximizer while doing MP Charge, even if I don't have 300 MP to cast it, Maximizer will still be cast thanks to Maximizer Converter.
