Showing the data for the dpfe sensor before and after would have been the best info you could have shown.

If you do find one of the lines plugged, such as on mine, (2011 Isuzu NRR) the hard line going to the DPF was plugged. What would that indicate ? Does that mean the filter is clogged and the soot just built up into the line ?

A friend of mine bought a 2014 nqr with all the Christmas 🎄 ligths on in the dashboard double check engine ligths were on dpf etc etc ,didn't make no more than 50mph Bought it for 15gram$ With 71,000miles on it ,basically the truck still new in my opinion, brand new truck worth$ 61,000 Back to the point, the people that sold the truck to him tough that the truck would have a high price repair and sold it to him ,he bought it like that and guess what ,he drove that truck for a week like that and now it's running like a champ every day ,I guess the def fluid was contaminated or something.

Can I just disconnect battery to reset the differential pressure sensor and to do DPF DATA reset?

my friend i have isuzu nqr 2008 and the dbd is blinking always and the truck power is very low max 50kmh and the exhaust brake very weak i dont know where the problem is i cleaned the barrel for the exhaust brake but still the same problem any idea what to do?

Good afternoon and thanks for this video. I have a 2016 Isuzu reach (FedEx express truck) that it shows me EXHAUST SYSTEM in red and the check engine with an arrow pointing down light on. Before that the message was REGEN REQUIRED but I did the active regeneration process 3 times because the message still so the scanner doesn’t show me any faulty codes so I’m in doubt with this issue if you know what could be I’ll appreciate it thanks

There is literally no way to clear the “exhaust system / Def light” without the Isuzu IDSS scanner. Autel, Snap On, Texa, etc. won’t do it

Can you please give a advise. My dpf was melt. I bought a new one for a mercedes benz r350 2012. Since I changed without waiting the 30 seconds without cranking or resetting the sensor i started the engine then I have the code saying dpf below threshold. Thanks

Hard to know without any codes, could be a number of things. May just need a counter reset or something could be broke.

Hey what if I have an Isuzu NPR 2012 and is giving that light in the MID display and don’t run faster than 5 MPH, what can I do and you much would it cost to get a new filter ? Please

You can probably pull the filter off and have it cleaned, as long as it isn't cracked or damaged. A new filter from the dealer is around $1200 usually. Of course you'll want to verify all of the after treatment sensors are worked correctly before you condemn the filter. Also, it may need and ECM update. There is a TSB for this issue that is caused by a bad ECM calibration. You can pull the version with a scan tool and give it to the dealer, they should be able to tell you if it needs an update. After that you'll need a scan tool like the TEXA to do your resets and get it out of derate.

Hey man I have a 2015 NPR HD 5.2L..the red EXH. SYSTEM light is on, a long with the low power & low DEF light. The DEF fluid is full and it is also showing full. What could cause this? It’ll complete a manual regen, till the end it tells me to “hold rpm over 1500 to purge exhaust” once I do that, it’ll abort and the regen doesn’t complete.

I'm having the same issue with a 2014 isuzu reach 3.0 took the dpf off had it cleaned tried to do the regen it gets to the end. Set rpm to 1500 and it restarts the process! Any help from anyone would be much appreciated thanks

no your truck does not have this sytem .2010 TRUCKS AND UNDER HAVE NO DPF OR DEF

Hello, I have a quick question about my 2011 NPR. The amber refuel DEF light wont turn off even after I fill the DEF tank. Any idea how I can get this light to turn off?

I would start with a scan tool and see how the sensor is reading, it may be bad and need to be replaced! I hope this helps ;-)

@@CEASUSA The scan tool sent back this code P20C9 which is a Reductant Control Module Request MIL Illumination.

Hey - we are having this same issue. Only see code P20C9 even at the Isuzu dealer with IDSS? Any ideas? No other codes showing. Is there a way to bench test the actual def module for additional codes? Where is the module?

Hi Eric, Some things to check out -Faulty Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve -Faulty Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve solenoid -Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve carbon blockage *If you've fixed the valve may just need to check for blockages in the EGR valve and the EGR coolers.

@@CEASUSA thanks for the response I put new one egr valve and it's still same,thing is when it's reach temperature that's when it's starts smoking which is a blue smoke..the Isuzu dealer said that my truck has no solenoid valve

You will want to check for codes in the DEF module. Depending on the scanner you are using you may only be able to see trouble codes in the engine. I hope this helps!

The P20C9 trouble means that the DEF module has requested the MIL to turn on. This means there is a trouble code in the DEF module that needs to be scanned.

Same issue only code P20C9. How do you scan the DEF module? Not sure my dealer here even knows how.

P0420. Please help I’ve had an issue with this every couple of months. Now it’s weekly I have my Mechaninc delete the code and it runs fine for a week and boom same issue. I had a rack on the flex pipe replaced it, replaced def header, 1 nox sensor exhaust side. Please help.

Make sure you're scanning the right module. May not be shown in the ECM, probably in aftertreatment module. We hope this tip helps!

Hi I wanted to see if you guys could help me out I'm working on a 2012 Isuzu NPR it's in a limp mode problem and has service exhaust flashing I did a forced region on the DPF and it shows it's clear but will not run over 5 mph diagnostic codes are U2105 U2202 U2203 I've tried to clear them but it fails every time

@@SMOKEY-JAYS-DIESEL Unfortunately there is no code help on one. The only thing we could suggest is there may be an issue with the communication lines since there are so many different loss of communication errors. We hope this helps!!
