Fixing a stuck joystick on PS4 controller

Beautiful lighting and camera placement. I damaged my thumb sticks by putting some foam rubber around them to see if it would make my aiming more accurate. I went to Target and picked up a new one for $60. I was watching your video and realized that taking the controller apart was not the nightmare I remembered it being. I took it apart and just played with it awhile. While re-assembling it I inadvertently hit the "power" button and turned on my PS4 console. I played Last of Us Remastered for a couple of minutes and saw that the problem that I had created earlier was now gone! Thank you for filming yourself and thank you for your calm spirit.

Great video thank you. However I found a much simpler way to resolve this problem, by simply twisting the stick to the right. And done.

Fun fact: I Didnt need to disassemble the controller, i simply just twisted on the joysteck and it worked

Your a life saver

Guys, you do not have to take apart your controller. You can just twist the joystick and then if you hear some clicks, try to move it around and if it feels back to normal, then it is good but still much respect to the creator of this video.

The grey part right side where the button is is out of place

Didnt even opend it just turn the joystick left or right and ok again

I have a struggle with it but the Joystick it's not stuck like that, only by a little and I don't know what to do.

hey i checked inside the controller and the sticks were straight and i still have the problem, is there anything else i can do to fix this issue?

Thank you for this problem exact same R3 stick for me aswell, but i do not have the screw driver so I used a knife to twist the screws

You can fix this without taking it apart just by twisting the joystick back into place with your fingers
