Mazzy is cold so it's time for Dan to get the heating working in the motorhome as well as a visit to the supermarket and a test of some new spicy crisps that need reviewing.

If the heater fails you can alway eat a bag of those hot crisps they will warm you up i reckon

Excellent getting the heating working. Just a reminder, you'l only get 900w on electric setting No.1 and 1800w on electric setting No.2. If your still cold then obviously use the Gas settings that will get you really toasty! Remember to leave it running if there's any chance of frost as it also heats your tank space and pipes in the under floor areas. And don't forget you can close vents in the living space area's that are not in use to increase heat flow elsewhere. :-)

Hi, I know he plays up to the camera and has admitted playing the "Mr Been" roll more for entertainment than anything else, but I know he has his limitations. I'm sure that any help/advice I do offer probably is used to good effect off camera.:-)

Love the little caricatures in the thumbnail they're perfect. 👍 Edit: also, you should try Clyde tunnel sausage, it's the original square sausage with black pudding I only ever had it once as a kid, because my step mam came down with some, and it was nothing compared to any other I think it's the spices in the pork, doubt it's got anything to do with the way the pigs are bred.

what a professional, to show us how to read the owners manual. A lot of people asking if the water issue was sorted, of course it's fixed, Dan is a world renowned Jack of all trades

@@furface9779 We are trying to get it sorted under warrenty. I have a feeling it might be a few weeks but l think they are going to sort it. Personally l dont need water. Listening to Mazzy you would think water was the difference between life and death! ;-p

You warmed the cockles of Mazzy's heart with this one Dan. Heaters running and hot crisps, aka hot chips in the U.S. Two good tips on how to warm up on a cold day. Me, I prefer hot cocoa. Lovely you can now turn the heater on and it works. YAY!!!

Hey Dan the fuse in the pouch lid, it being a much larger fuse may be a main fuse located in the motor compartment some where in another fuse box, most commercial vehicles here in the US have them to protect the vital system circuits so just hunt around you'll find it, may also check under the dash to the left or right there may be a box there also, by the way what turned out to be the issue with your water pump?

Those papers with jiberish are for lighting fires. But keep the bag for your laptop. The large fuse is an extra main fuse. Could be used in the engine compartment or the main interior panel.

You can also start your van engine for a bit and use the heater for a rspid warmup.

Recommend you going ahead and locating your return air filter or cabin air filter. If the airflow isn’t great could be a sign of dirty air filter. Or it could just be when using electric heating elements to get a good heat rise the fan usually runs slower than it would in cooling.

Wreckdiver59 already posted about that fuse and he is spot on.:-) I thought I would look into where it actually goes. I know you said it had 58/85 on it, it should be a 50 Amp fuse. There are two locations it is used. 1st location is in a separate fuse holder next to your leisure batteries, this is the master fuse for your leisure batteries. The 2nd location is in the engine bay. There will be a fuse holder for a 50 Amp fuse close to that battery as well. This is the fuse protection for charging off the engine battery/alternator and the cable that connects that battery to your Electroblock power distribution unit.

If you’re still not warm enough you need to turn up the heating temperature, GET THE WATER PUMP FIXED TOO PLEASE! 👍👍😊😊

By the way you’ll find in cold temps you’ll need to combine gas and electric together as the truma combo doesn’t like to run on electric alone when it gets below a certain temperature... Dump your Calor bottles and get yourself a couple of LPG refillable bottles, bit of an outlay but you’ll chuckle every time you refill them as you’ll be saving an absolute fortune! Plus no no lugging around exchange bottles, just pull up at the forecourt pumps and refill! Glad you got the heating sorted it’s definitely getting colder out there. I know you love to be thrifty Dan so have you heard of ACSI campsites? We used these when we went to France, but they are also in UK and definitely in Dumfries area. Basically they do a discounted rate out of season, so it may help you save some money on campsites. The membership costs are fairly cheap too. Just a thought if you need to be on a campsite for electric hookup to keep your heating costs low. I think out of season tends to be outside of school holidays I think. 😁

travelling in a mobilehome, all over the country, buys a trolly full of crap chemically filled 'food' like stuff from tescos !! What about the local butcher shops, bakeries, green grocers etc that have been all but removed from our high streets. I'm betting this comment doesn't get a heart. :)

I cannot believe it has taken you this long to look at how to use the heating. All the research you do for the places you visit and the instruction manuals FOR YOUR HOME are to much. Shame Dan, you read them Mazzy and show Dan how it's done.
