Yup! The Ol' fingernail file was a great tool back then in a pinch but nowadays they leave granulates inside cuz the glue is crap, and when you set the points a matchbook cover is the perfect gauge!!
Boy that brings back memories, when I worked for my uncle on snowmobile’s that he sold ( Moto Ski ) and other sleds people would bring in for repairs. When we were selling them they came with Hirth or Jlo in a couple of them . My other uncle that I helped out sometimes sold Ski Doo and Boa Ski . Raced for both of them . Stopped selling Moto Ski when started to become Ski Doo’s sleds . Use to piss me off watching people after fix recoil go out and stand there and pull cord all the way out , I’d go out and show them all you had to do is pull short pulls and it would start .
When I was a kid, (I'm now in my 40's), an old timer showed me the flick trick. Worked great back in the day! That said I don't work on too many point ignition engines these days.
Ever thought about using the RU-vid membership thing along with doing the patreon thing ? I don’t do anything with patron but RU-vid has a somewhat similar situation that I do for some of my other favorite channels. And I’d do it for your channel for sure.
