It's a factory quick detach backrest (sissy bar) it's supposed to look like that. To keep mine from rattling with no one on I put a few washers behind the back mounting point to spread the mount out just enough to stop the rattle. Nice bike!!
LED lights so people can see you better you can even add some crash bar mounted light cannons , and a nice carbon fiber shorty front fender . Have fun with it.
The standard cover should be fittered with a rubber gasket thingo under it. I understand it was overtightened, but the rubber ,which came with screaming eagle stage one aircleaner kit is needed.
