That 240 is absolute madness, took a plaid to gapplebee's from a dig, pulled multiple car lengths ahead, let off before the finish line and still won the race
Great video, but them guys with the RWD cars going into a cash days with 5 AWD monsters on a virgin road are crazy. They literally threw their money away.
water burnout didnt help, some stripper glitter might've made it possible. and the fox squatted way too hard it bottomed out, you can see on the burnout.
@@boostjunkie2320 on a virgin road like that one it matters and a lot, prepped surface with lots of rubber already layed down it's a different story. That's why on this cashdays every awd car moved ahead.
This was comical. From the Tesla owners who didn’t have to do shit to their cars to be able to drive in a straight line all the way down to Honda’s missing gears and not being able to shift. The epitome of more money than skill. Florida once again provides fun for the whole family.
@@bigheadgsxr1000 stop it, Adam obviously knows everything (he especially knows that the econobox Honda transmissions we're certainly intended for 9k+ rpm shifts, and that's it's completely the driver at fault and not the trans grasping to life 🤣). You can't argue with a great keyboard worrier such as Adam 😳.
@@itsjussjerry I had to youtube the 2jz awd setup (Never heard of this swap). That setup is CRAZY just for a Is300 let alone a 240sx. A good race would been 1/4 240sx vs the k civic (NOT miss shifting). Or the 240 vs the same civic but the civic had either a sequential or dogbox trans! The way the civic dusted that TA was not even fair, woke my damn kids up yelling so loud!
@@relansis6962 my point still stands, I'd rather see a bunch of foxbodies that someone turned a wrench on than some dude who sent his gtr to a shop or some dipshit that bought a Tesla
I’d like to say that song selection for this video was great. I think it also be great if you guys should experiment with different transitions as well. Just a thought nonetheless a great video.
or the fact that the final race was complete bullcrap.. tesla wasnt staged and they didnt rerun, bad on the flaggers part. And no I dont like teslas, I actually hate electic cars, just like a good race. Flaggers need to get organized cause this was a mess
So the last race the Tesla didn’t honk or flash to stage why didn’t they re-run, that’s the flaggers fault not the driver, it don’t matter he got his money back that just doesn’t seem fair even if he would have lost.
I agree with the way the final run was decided. Once the flaggers started stepping back, the tesla should have been ready for the light. That was a legit win. With the way that 240 was hooking, I don't think the tesla could have pulled out the W. If your going to bring a tesla to a street race, why not have some lightweight wheels and drag radials? Showing up to an event like this, with all-season radials and stock heavy wheels, is not smart.
That’s not how racing works, put bias aside you don’t start the race if he hasn’t staged and said he was ready, it doesn’t matter if the 240 was going to get burned down.
@@DaOnE51T You sure? I know the red one was. Theres also videos of a fwd turbo K24 hatch from LA smashing the fuck out of GTRs on the street, all in the suspension and weight ballast I would imagine.
@@DaOnE51T ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9LACVA4mdLs.html skip to like the last minute unless you want to watch twenty minutes of negotiations
@@barneymiller7894 they prepped that street for that EF civic in Cali. This blue hatch is AWD. It doesn’t even do a burnout, no prep, and 1st one down. It also says it in the title too.
This might be the stupidest comment I’ve seen, if you don’t want to race what is by you don’t race at all. You can’t choose what you race and don’t, a daily driver is best these built race cars. Just admit it’s impressive.
Okay hear me out bro love everything about how you filmed everything and all the angels, however in the future could you find a way to put the mods of every car in the video. But still 9/10 video
@@knightfall7534 I’d say not all of them are grudge racers that won’t show or tell the setups. It’d be a great promotion for ether shops that built the cars or individuals themselves
Ya they said it was 1/8 mile, like alot of street stuff is actually 1/8 not 1/4 because today's cars are fucking fast as hell. No one wants to be doing 200 mph on the streets tbh with you.
Now after watching the video, they should have run that final again. They have very clear rules, tesla owners turn on hazards when they are ready, then the other cars 2 steps and then they flagger lets them go. Seems like they were afraid to get beat by a tesla so they just gave the dude his money back to avoid embarrassment.
