Britt's first full sentence on NPC D&D is "What the fuck!?" And that seems so appropriate for encountering Baradun and the Dick Heads for the first time
I disagree. I don't like the way Britt is acting out. She is not included in the role here as much as possible. It would have been better if Ellie had been called
@@legionarybooks13 hmmm, no. I don't think so. Rob always acts in response to the players. So if they started calling themselves by a knew name he'd probably go along with it. He's pretty good like that.
Got to hand it to Rowan's performance and commitment to having an unknown entity fuse and enter his body unwillingly. His "friends" standing around and not coming to his aid in his moment of horror. And dwelling on the unknown ramifications of having something is inside himself now and not knowing what that means. Also props to Rob for the best quote this episode: "Were you attached to Bodger? Cos this thing is."
Starting to grow increasingly convinced this doll is a failsafe by the hag. I genuinely wouldn't be shocked if its in their stealing life force to resurrect
I was thinking that too. Maybe it's a way to Skabathas come back to life. Just impregnate someone, drain his or her life force during 9 months and the burst throught the belly like a alien
That would be cool, i kinda thought it would be a way for Rowan to multiclass but honestly no clue what class itd even be IF that were to be accurate. Lol
3:34. I love how Brit lost it there and couldn't keep the laugh back. And I love the editor for either missing it, or leaving it in on purpose. Was beautiful. XD Ben's improv caught Brit off-guard so hard XD XD

I absolutely love you guys leaving more character breaks in the edit! Both of Britt’s and Ben walking off without Wotsit and just hearing Rob’s laugh everytime makes it even more hilarious
I didn’t think it was possible for this story to take a turn that could make me feel PITY for Bodger, after the nonrepenting swath of mayhem he’s caused so far (more so than the rest, at any rate), but this one actually did it. I really enjoyed the horror elements from the Dead Frost arc, and bringing it back at this point in the story worked really well, since IMO the dark comedy is one of the strengths of this series. I was actually blown away at how Rob really went in full throttle on the body horror… and how Rowan ran with it and fully embraced the emotional implications of that without blunting the edge of the humor at all. This episode has only heightened my regard for both of you as storytellers and actors. Eagerly awaiting what’s going to happen with the doll-symbiote in the rest of the story. The description of the eyes and mouth being the last to fuse into flesh kind of reminded me of Parasyte…
When Rob screams "i'm trying to involve you in the RPG" at Bodger.... Britt's shrinking away thinking "Jeez mummy and daddy, I hate it when you argue"....
This episode has it all clammy clam is great. Bob makes puns pulls a hammy then trys to break his nose. bodger tests fate and gets pregnant. This episode is in the top 3 best episodes.

Very enjoyable to have an actually lawful good character at the table after 108 episodes. 2. Rowan: I feel like that's just karma for not listening to Rob since the beginning. I hope the doll story arc "sticks" around for a bit. :D 3. Ben and Adam: You guys are really enjoying this new session. Love to see the dynamic! 4. Rob: Great job like always. I really appreciate the work you are putting into the story and the endurance of D&Ding with this chaos group. I like what you are doing with the doll and Bodger. I thought it would just touch Bodger and fuck off. Like a little prank to annoy everyone by thinking something bad would happen. Your idea is actually terrifying, congratulations to coming up with something so horrific.

This was a fantastic episode 😂 I loved the detailed explanation of how angler fish mate to explain the process of the doll fusing into Bodger. So horrifying yet so informative
I write bit of fanfics as a writing hobby. And lately, they tend to be chaotic as fuck and also fun for crying out loud. I blame Rob for Inspiration. He's a great Story Weaver.

The doll fusing into Bodger was horrifying enough, but Rob's frightening angler fish description just sent it over the top into a visceral body horror image for my nightmares This episode was such fun chaos, I loved it. Hope Alan is in the next episode.
I actually feel sorry for Bodger, I never thought I'd see the day. Even if it was his own fault for touching a doll he found in a hag's home because Baradun and BOB told him it was totally fine to do so.

Britt's acting here is spot on. Someone who plays D&D intermittently, shows up to a table full of dickheads, and somehow manages to make the episode great by conveying the character's discomfort so clearly. The greenscreen bits are getting even more interesting, and the subtle hint of outtakes is refreshing and fun. The duration on this one hits the sweet spot of engaging and immersive without dragging. Character dynamics progressed very well, and quickly, and less than 1/2 through the episode I've stopped to go back and watch parts twice already. This was a really good one. edit - bro I watched this twice lmao the greenscreen finally got out the info Britt couldn't at the table, the whole vibe felt exactly like it would if one were to meet the ... crew at random. So well done, love to see it.
I've been a huge fan of all the VLDL videos for years now. When I first came across the D&D games I was like "Who the hell wants to watch this crap? Watching people play boring ass D&D?". Then I watched 1 episode a couple of weeks ago because I was bored. I ended up binge watching all 109 episodes plus the original 9 because it's just so entertaining and I had to see what happened next. You guys are all amazing and I love everything you do. Please keep up the hilarious work! I wish you all the best from way over here in Ohio. I seriously hope y'all start getting paid good for all of the hard work you do. You all deserve it.

I think Bodger might have to use up his favour to expel the parasite. Meanwhile, Baradun could save it and ask her to project herself, as a witness, whenever he accuses his usurper of his crime towards others

I know you all do read your comments, I just wanna say, I have watched you since almost season 1 of bored when my friend introduced me and later reintroduced when I got into pubg. You guys got into D&D right when I did, unrelated to the events of the world, but because I want to write stories based upon a D&D style of writing...kinda a solo DM campaign...but I love everything about everything you did with your adding of this episode... I do me everything!!! I was able to learn the game and feel just as embarrassed as all of you when you made mistakes. You made me feel really ok with not being a good new player and I am able to play a game now with confidences that I don't have to worry about doing something wrong. Episode runtime and the cutaways...also what you got on everyone else is VOLUME MANAGEMENT, so many other groups get so loud at key moments. You guys get excited I an accessible volume and I can listen at night and not worry about being startled awake. I cannot get enough of watching this campaign. I feel attached to it and this has to be my 10th time watching just this episode as I make my own playlist and laugh everytime at "I regret this immediately!"

Clementine is so nice and pure. Bit too much maybe - to the point you have to wonder what is wrong with her. : ) ... Well she is magic user and already has a bit of one PCs hair, that is perfectly innocent and never hurt anyone ever.

Great episode and fun to see how switching out a player changes the dynamic of the table. Hope Britt is going to play this character in one of the future campaigns once the studio is done!
