Exactly what I said, Rocco and Kevin were the best here hands down with the genuine sincerity with which they performed their parts, not too overly dramatic or hokey, but real and palpable.

I was just talking about the fact that Rocco arbitrarily translated the ****** (note: four stars) into "bitch", a five letter word, and followed it with a "Or whatever I guess?" kinda look. It was a clever bit that I just ruined by explaining it. But sure.

For E3 2008 if I remember correctly they switched to commercial free BUT the director screwed everyone watching again by cutting from the trailers to wide shots of people sitting in the auditorium watching what was going on and close up reactions, kind of like what Sony did in places this E3 (2018 for possible future readers). The biggest "fuck you" moment was when the trailer for Final Fantasy 13 for XBox 360 came up, after the first couple of seconds it went to a camera at the back of the auditorium and stayed there, continuing to pan over the crowd and never going back to the direct feed. When the trailer ended and the crowd went into hype overload, Sessler's first words were "Sorry about that, everyone!". Seriously, any director who cuts to the audience for reactions during a trailer needs to be unemployed.

When I think about the progression of gaming consoles, it all seems like a joke, like the previous decade was just a fuck around warm up of them figuring out how to make actually good consoles. There have always been fantastic games more than worth playing on all consoles, even atari 2600, but it just seems like a giant repeat console dry spell from gamecube to the switch with nintendo, it's like that void was filled with just Wii and an ever changing line of DS versions, DS clamshell original to DS lite to 2DS to 3DS to whatever it is now if different, and they tried extending Wii with something like Wii plus right? then it was WII U lol like hey guys we added a letter, same technology NEW CONSOLE! Xbox is all a blur, Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One, now Xbox One X? The fuck? It's like some bullshit movie series that ditches numbers and uses subtitles like Alien, Aliens, then they couldn't do Alienses so instead of alien 3? subtitles, Alien insurrection, resurrection, desolation, which one comes before which? What's the order? HAVE TO LOOK IT UP. LAME. Playstation has been the most honest in my opinion, because even though microsoft is a computer company, playstation feels more like a new computer every time, like they just made a new model with better hardware and they're not lying about anything about it. Playstation, Playstation 2, PS3, PS4. I bet you the next playstation will be called PS5, not playstation NEXT or some dumb fucking retarded futuristic sounding "forwards facing" BS word. It's the NEXT, the next playstation, until it's not the next playstation and it's the older model so it won't make sense to call it next anymore besides that's what we named it. IF you're going to use weird freaking names and shit, go the Sega route with titles like "Master System", Genesis, Dreamcast, Saturn. Or be straight with it like Nintendo, the most sensible game console naming progression even starting with the classic "Nintendo Entertainment System", being made more powerful in the next reincarnation as the "Super Nintendo Entertainment System", a system still "super" to the "NES" in terms of capabilities, followed by the Nintendo 64, a 64 bit console, then proceeded by the Nintendo Game Cube, a nice little cube made for playing games, and a damn fun system it is with plenty of classic triple A titles. Yeah and it wasnt even big name ads. It was like infomercial bad and lasted for 2-3 mins G4 had ubsurd long ad time. I remember this. It played like 45 seconds of the h3 trailer went to 2-4of ads came back with Sesslers smug chuckle and was like "THAT WAS AMAZING"! Never mentioned it was cut off. They gave zero warnings of breaks screen just faded black.
