Everything is individual IMO. I learnt flares in a year or so and can do 30 rounds keeping the technique clean. But I've been learning the airflare for 3 years and I can do only 1 pretty low round to flare (I'm still proud of myself, struggled with that for years). People in my country don't spend much time on flares and skip to airflares quickly, so when they see my really decent flares and bad airflares they are insanely surprised. But the worst thing is that I injure the adductor muscle in the upper part of my leg almost every time I practice the airflare. I started doing my stretching routine properly a year ago and it helped with preventing injuries during flares, but the airflare injuries seem impossible to be prevented for my body, or IDK how much time I need to spend for stretching and exercising. Thanks for videos with great powermove information, it's never been enough of that on youtube!
Airflares.. takes longer.. since its 2 parts.. swing if legs and catching.. flares is hard and strenuous, but airflare is about precision of technique.. but with so much videos and tutorials available on this era.. both airflares and flares are way easier to train.. vs 25 years ago
Can you please make a video on how to increase our strength for doing freezes, cause I have learn all freezes but can't hold for long and can't keep my legs up when doing the first step of windmill which is turtle freeze 😭.please make a video for my problem 😔will help me a lot 😅
Definitely the flare for me. I can flare to airflare. Airflares from standing are pretty challenging for me, and learning flares first can lead to airflares, but I think it depends on the person. Sucks many bgirls can do airflares and I can't as a man.
I can only do 1 round but looks bad, because my airchair is not the best haha :) I want to improve my airchair in order to learn them, they are one of my favorite moves!
I just feel that you have such a good calesthenics skills. I cannot do so many moves and some of them are prerequisite for these moves to be done. I wish you can do some videos regarding the kind of exercises where it enhances one 's flexibility, mobility and performance, and show how many reps one need to do and including how many sets. Than only I can do these dance moves. I am so interested in doing these great break dancing moves, however, lack of flexibility issues, I am unable to do it. I hope you understand what I mean. Thank you.
It really depends which moves you mean, but I made some follow along videos for flares, swipes, airflares and windmills that you can try to follow :) they include the prerequisites
@@KaioFalcrow You mean there are prerequisite videos too for the falers and windmill too? I have realized that one needs lot of strength including core strength for break dancing. As simple it may look but break dancing requires lot of flexibility, strength, and endurance. I cannot believe how incredible is to see the power moves.
Coming from someone with zero athletic background who was weak and no flexibility I learned most of my powermoves from kaoi while my breaking peers all had IRL mentors/teachers. I was able to have learned most power moves and transitions to a pretty good level surpassing all of em. with his videos I feel he gives you the information you need in every tutorial of a move and what perquisites and how to do them. That’s not even including the information from his guides. His videos alone give you what you need. Breaking is just extremely demanding and takes a lot of drive and dedication and you just gotta stick with it. It’s really tough at first but once you break down a wall it gets easier and easier to break more down. Best of luck in your journey 🤙
Airflares are wayyyy harder to learn for me. I think the technique is way more complicated to learn as you have no room to fail. For flares, even if you are dragging your feet, you can still do it. That said, really clean and high flares are just as hard as airflares. Side note, i love your colour grading in your video bro!
Everyone is overlooking the big issue here: a flare can be done poorly and you can get minor injuries slightly off the ground. You mess up a airflare, you are crippled for weeks.
It can be, but Flare is really heavy, so it can lead to groin and shoulders injuries easily too, maybe even more than Airflares, so it’s up to person and way of executing the 2 moves :)
