I think it's amazing you conserve your indigenous culture the way you do, it's beautiful. The haka is so uplifting, and inspiring, i feel strong just watching it. It's sad most of the world isn't like NZ in embracing their indigenous culture, most indigenous culture traditions are dying out, great to see future generations taking pride in it =) kiora!
Hey OceanaOlsen, Most ferocious haka I have seen for a long time and makes me proud to be a kiwi especially during RWC 2011. There is an article here (London) written by journalist Brendan Gallagher (The Daily Telegraph) who says he saw you guys and said that Haka was 'the most spontaneous and frightening he has ever seen' and he was 3 feet away. It is an amazing article (dated 5-Sept-2011 and in the Sports section of the Telegraph) and if you can google the article then It is worth it!
All i gotta say is haters quit it!! they are enjoying themselves, there having fun....I love the fact these guys get really into it, they dont hold back... Im part kiwi and i gotta say is it's awesome seeing people not giving a crap what other people think about them, and also how people just join in!!! it's awesome i respect you guys!!!
this was awesome - hope they do it everywhere! what a great idea, cant wait to see some in wellington - and ,maybe a flash haka in the finals where you get 1000s
LOL at the headphones guy in the white shirt, makes it seem so casual. " Hey, look 20 guys screaming, damn i got Chemistry class ahhh fuck it, i'll join in"
