Translating again, thank you to everyone who left me a kind word yesterday Flash: Hello Ddasik: Hello! What time would you be available to scrim? F: Not today, because my arm has been hurting since yesterday. I'll be playing a lot tomorrow. D: Sorry to hear that. Ok! What time should I be waiting tomorrow? F: If we can get on around the same time, how about in the evening? D: Alright! gl
I feel the need to say it again, cast as much Flash as you like. An actual cohesive story over the weeks is much cooler than Random guy vs Random other guy
Oh and the guy feels the need to say it again. Im gonna say it again, dont try influencing others lives, noone asked you nothing. So why feeling that supposed need? You just wanna show my brother.
It is lunch time, I am at work. Reheat leftovers, swallow sadness. New ArtosisCast, a Flash game gives me joy. He has chills, I have warmth. There is hope, I timing push.
I am loving the Flash coverage, so glad to see my favorite player come back and have such a legend covering it all. Truly a treat. One ask though is can you translate when the players are typing to each other? Would love to know what they're saying
The translation comment didn't get posted until after your comment, but someone in the comments did translate the dialog on both this and the previous Flash vs Ddasik videos, it's currently the top comment on this video. I agree though, would be nice if Artosis gave at least a quick summary of what's being discussed when the players are messaging at the beginning of a game
What an excellent game! I love the Flash casts. It's so amazing to watch a legend come back and evolve into the newer meta, and also trying to figure out new things as well.
Zerg is generally unkillable if their supply is above 70. So even a 150 supply Terran has to play patiently. Supply is really not a great indicator on who is ahead in BW, much less so in TvZ.
It's called biding your time. Just because you have a big army supply doesn't mean your opponent doesn't. Just one crackling run-by and you can kiss your barracks rally point adios.
I think Flash did the depots like that to tank muta bounce hits and force mutas to engage in a naturally funnelled line formation of rines if they get dived while rotating. The top and bottom flank of the line is covered by turrets, so mutas can't position to pick rines one-by-one for free.
Feels like Flash maybe built those outside depots first so they would be harder to harass with mutas. Finish those ones in the early game so that way he can build the interior depots during the muta harass and avoid possibly losing SCVs or cancelling depots.
The fact that Flash Protoss can't win any games is testimony of how difficult the race is to play. Look. It's much easier to win as Terran than as Protoss, as Flash has demonstrated.
I love the casts, but I wish you would focus on the mini map more. Every cast there is always engagements missed because of talking about theoretical strategies they might try, what they should do, what part of the map is good for this, etc. It's interesting and welcome, but I think the timing on when to discuss needs some work with more focus on the actual playing.
I think Ddasik didn't use the time to expand without beeing bothered when Flash was busy with Mutas. Maybe beacuse he was busy with microing those flying rats? What do you think?
@@sneediumminer Even if they perform a lot worse, doesn't mean they don't perform at all. Maybe this is Flash's new addition to the meta, heavy mine use against the Zerg
You'll see mines against 2-hatch lurker all-ins, since Z won't be having the gas for overlord speed to detect it and outright kills that build. Mech worked well here since there wasn't a switch into heavy queens, it was just ling+ultra.
Nice game, but I feel like Ddasik did not really stood a chance. Flash seemed in control the entire match. Even wasted some tanks by not moving them back away from the dark swarm because he had plenty of troops.
ddasik is very clearly excited to play flash . super chatty. didn't see their convo from previous game but I guess Flash has been practicing a lot and his arm is sore
@@Zyzyx442 if we're just throwing things out for a wet dream Terran game, then don't forget ghosts (either nukes or lockdown will suffice) and maybe Optical Flare on the medics to ensure the Ghost can get in I still remember that one match where Optical Flare was used to blind an observer so a horde of Wraiths could go in and DELETE a bunch of carriers. It was a spectacle.
While I prefer games with toss in them I've been absolutely loving this Flash series. Watching one of, if not the greatest Terran players improve at such an incredible pace is amazing.
Didnt play starcraft in a month or so so I got back to it for the past couple of days but the A.I is crushing me every single time I remember that there was a trick where if you hit the AI building with a worker it attacks you with all of its workers and loses a lot of time and money I might use it next time to beat it
I heard from somewhere that SK terran causes Flash wrist issues. First of all, is that true? If yes, do you think Flash is trying to come up with a non SK terran build specifically for TvZ for this reason?
As someone who only watches BW, I never understood why mech is viable against zerg. I know tank splash damage can damage units under dark swarm, but the splash isnt that much, and a single lurker under dark swarm can still halt an entire army. When you add the fact that it has a huge counter (queens) and seems overall more expensive, it just never made sense to me :/
it would be cool to have videos that talk about the "history" of openings. Who did what when. Even if it is something that was developed around a certain time by many and not only one player.
