The worst part about being a Brood War fan is that yes, I do in fact remember hidden tracks on CD's. Thanks for reminding me that I'm an old head artois.
@@Mymommy42069 it's only natural that a base comment gets more likes than a reply you have to expand to see. that's just how RU-vid works. (and people did like my comment in fact) purple and brown are literally very different colors (coming from a monitor, the in-game purple is simply brighter) , and there's a large difference between "they're kinda similar" and "i literally can't tell them apart" yes, the ingame purple *could* be a bit lighter, but if you are completely unable to distinguish them, you either are watching at 240p (extreme youtube compression) or you have some amount of color blindness. in-game they are fairly easy to tell apart. the only real issue is that some units/structures don't have enough teamcolored area on their sprites.
A bit surprised at the comment that JyJ had to display more versatility in his ASL run than Royal, considering they both played two Zergs and then one Terran vs Terran in their elimination stage: - JyJ: Soulkey(Zerg), Hero (Zerg), Mind (Terran) - Royal: Shine (Zerg), Soulkey (Zerg), Rush (Terran) In the round of 16 Group Stage: - JyJ: Zero (Zerg), Rush(Terran), BarrackS(Terran) - Royal: hero(Zerg), Mini (Protoss), Action (Zerg), In the round of 24: Group Stage -JyJ: Light(Terran), Stork (Protoss), Sacsri(Zerg) -Royal: Zero((Zerg), Sharp(Terran), MisO(Zerg) So they both played only one Protoss (Mini and Stork, respectively) in their ASL runs,.
Royal didn't play end up playing Mini in the Ro16, just the zergs. However, I agree with you - that comment sounded off to me too, so I had to immediately go and fact check that xD
I wasn't tricked, Artie. Even if it was 5 minutes of blank video, I was going to sit and just enjoy your vibe. I read "Inner Game of Tennis" on your suggestion, and I'm a big fan of your wisdom, bro. I hope Canada or wherever you're at is treating you guys well. Terran 4 Lyfe
Perfect opportunity to do SHIFT + TAB to change the colors to RED vs BLUE. This game had PURPLE vs BROWN while both were TERRAN... Practically undistinguishable... I would like that for all replays, RED vs BLUE always, for any match. And thanks for the casts!
Right now Flash seems to usually win against top Zerg players, but usually lose against Terran and Protoss... I wonder whether he can get back into shape.
having a flash game to watch with my lunch every day has tremendously improved my quality of life. you did what biden could never do. You are a true american patriot artosis.
If you want to fool anyone with the sneaky twofer games, you need to put up your video end-screen (the campaign selection screen with the Terran mission briefing music) for a few seconds. Then you might actually get someone.
And stork has been playing like crap in recent years. JYJ only won from luck and a terrible showing by everyone else in that season. JYJ will not win another ASL.
@@Globodyne I think he was pretty good vs. zerg in some of the games. But my main point is that his win should not worth more than Royal's, as neither played P.
I was tricked, because I hide to myself how long the video is, so I'm not spoiled if at one point one side seems like winning. Knowing that the video ends soon or not will tell me basically if the next attack works or not.
impossible to make it look like the end of the video after game one. The next video selection pops up before you finish talking on almost every other video. Sorry :~(
in my opinion, Flash would probably get eliminated at the Ro24 or Ro16 stage (at best) right now. He has not had enough time to actually de-rust. There is a reason that he didnt do a big public announcement or start streaming yet, he wanted to fly under the radar during the de-rust phase.
Can we have more Fkash? Because if we can have more Flash… then I can upvote the living sh*T out of these videos. We want a Flash channel with hardcore analysis already. GGs!
Soulkey wins his 17th ASL in a row, crowned the next Zerg Bonjwa for never losing a set 3 years running, has broken the Zerg race to the point Blizzard is actually considering patching Brood War 20 years later. Artosis: He still no honourable mention of best player... still saying Light is the best player of our generation...
He isn't. If he didn't get lucky and win that ASL season, he would never be mentioned in a conversation of top SK terran players. He is a technical and 1/1/1 style skilled player. He often goes mech(which sucks) and stuff because hes not confident in SK terran alone. Not a top tier SK terran nor top macro player as Artosis claims. Artosis also thinks Jaedong is the best zerg when he is in reality just low level ASL tier player.
@@Globodyne I understand that JyJ had some disappointing performances in preceding ASLs, but he definitely earned it in the season he became champ. Let's not try to downplay that performance.
