Flatfoot is common in both children and adults. sometimes we call pronated foot. When a person with flatfoot stands up, the arch in the middle of the foot disappears. Most children have an arch on the inside of each foot. However, some children have flat feet, also known as 'fallen arches'. Nearly all toddlers are flat-footed.

Thank u Doc. I was really worried for my 20 month old toddler. Can u recommend any exercises for her feet?? I consulted a ortho who suggested walking on toe is good & doing the same as exercise, along with vitamin B complex syrup. What can u suggest because my nephews & niece already have flat foot. So I'm getting tensed.
