Join me for a couple of fun fast and sideways laps around the GP Track of Hockenheim in the brand new Lamborghini Huracán EVO RWD! POV Style!!
My name is Jeroen Mul.
I am a Professional Racing driver working and racing for the Italian Supercar brand Lamborghini and doing all sorts of cool stuff with Supercars around the world.

Jeroen Mul last 2 years ago I played a game called real racing 3 and the huracan LP610-4 sounded like a LP570-4 Murcilago it does not sound like a huracan same to as the GT3 Huracan but last year it finally changed it sound like the huracan itself and also I slammed a Performante.

Respekt wie gut du fahren kannst. Und dein Video mit dem Aventador s war echt sehr unterhaltsam hätte mir am liebsten mehr gewünscht... mal sehen vielleicht kommt auf dem Kanal hier mehr davon. Ps: Cooles Auto was du dir da konfiguriert hast (Aventador S Roadstar).

Nicely done sir. How much of sliding for you is instinct and how much is practice?

The initial reflex of catching oversteer is definitely instinct. Being able to drift and powerslide these kinds of cars through fast corners on a track like this definitely comes from practice and experience.

Hockenheim is a brake-killer. could the brakes withstand the enormous heat, respectively did you always had a stabel brake pedal feel ? - schön gefahren ;)

In the end it all comes down to good brake management as these are not race built cars. You need to make sure to do proper cool down laps before you stop the car again in the pitlane. The (on RWD optional) carbon ceramic brakes definitely are better capable of withstanding the stress and heat that comes with driving a track like this fast. You can definitely feel the difference with the steel brakes that are standard on the RWD but still the didn't fade during these laps you see here.

EVO is more focused on being the best "Daily Lamborghini Supercar" with the new HMI touchscreen infotainment system, all wheel steering and new central ECU that is able to predict what predict what you want from the car and adjust the car accordingly. The Performante is more track focused with less weight and Lamborghini's active aerodynamics technology "ALA"

Yes in an ideal world I would add a Huracán EVO Coupe to use as a more “daily drivable” Supercar!! I think it’s the best car Lamborghini has made so far!

Mister Cornflakes yes! The SVJ is fantastic on a race track. But as a road going Supercar I personally prefer the Aventador S as it’s a bit more comfortable and still definitely as exciting to drive. The Huracán EVO beats both of them in terms of comfort and drivability on the road combined with such easy access to instant performance and excitement as soon as you put the car in Sport or Corsa and you floor it!

There are now 2 versions of the Huracan EVO. The “normal” 640hp 4WD version with carbon brakes and 4WD as standard. And the new Huracan EVO RWD with 610hp, rear wheel drive, steel brakes and no rear wheel steer.

Jeroen Mul that’s wicked! But weird that the RWD version only gets steel brakes, carbon brakes are probably an expensive option on the list..

Antony ter Horst yes they are an optional extra on the RWD. Apart from being a more focused driving machine for the purists who want RWD the car is also aimed to be a more “entry level” version with a lower base rate price. Making it extreme value for money it still being a V10 Lamborghini Supercar with 610hp.
