Sidewall punctures are different because the tire is flexing al the time, if it was my tire I would put a patch on the sidewall and add the sealer afterwards, I have done tires for the last 25 years
This stuff honestly works really well. Sidewalls always hit different. Constantly compressing and then ripping open with rotation. Slap a little patch on I bet it's fine. But also, compare this stuff with other things, I bet it does well. I've seen it work well and been really impressed because I really had no faith in it after buying a bottle of slime, once.
Sidewall punctures are irreparable from truck tires to lawn mower tires. If u want to get better results, take the tire off and lean it in a way that the sealant covers the puncture. Ie, but the puncture at the bottom.
I think it would be more effective 1. add it before, when you don't have a hole. And 2. Sidewall punctures are the worst. You normally have to replace the tire with even the smallest of punctures because its not only holding in air but providing support for the vehicle
@@gibsonslawnservice7261 I had a small hole on my cars sidewall and the tire shop wouldn't even try to fix it. Had to buy new tire. I'm amazed your tire would even partially fill up like it did. Thx for the post!
When the tire is split you cannot deal it. It fixes HOLES not tare's. It has always worked ony tires. As you can see in this video the tire had a 3/4" year on it. For that you can fix with an inner tube.
8:28 pm Wed Aug 10 2023. Great job on your video. BUT I absolutely hate having to listen to music duration an instructional video. I would much sooner hear what’s going on in the shop and what is being said….for what it’s worth.👍👍👍
Check out 65Fords channel. He just put out a video on how to fix side wall holes like that.I was thinkin of buying some of this for my chipper/shredder tires as they are always flat, but i dont think so now.Thank you for saving me my $ & time!
Side walls are a bitch...especially on a lawn tractor tire and there's a huge difference between a round puncture and a sliced cut...Good vid nevertheless
I can't believe that you actually thought you could fix a half inch side wall cut . WOW ,,,,, This stuff is made more for cactus , sandburs or nail holes ... NOT CUTS .... LOL
Bro why do you want to be driving anything with a sidewall hole anyways, while I appreciate the informative nature of this video I would be replacing a tire with a side wall specially that big. You're just begging to let you stranded in the worst possible moment even if it did the job
@@gibsonslawnservice7261 Good to know, I just went to the store to get some slime see it'll give me a roll of 2 more, back tire of my car is not taking any air and has a European lock, need to take it to the shop see what they can do to get it out. Good luck
