Great Job!!! Thank you both... :-) Have a fun time in Mexico with your mom! I'm getting ready to do this to my flat roof in BC, Canada. (alone because my wife would never come up on the roof with me to help, you are soooo lucky) I have watched all your RU-vid on going over the tar and gravel and this is what I'm planning to do. 5,000 sqft :-) Where do you buy the Turbo Poly Seal and fleece from? (I can easily drive over the border to buy from WA. state if it's only sold in the USA. Also have trouble finding Karnak 66 TROWEL GRADE here... Thank you again! I would not have even known where to start if it wasn't for you and your wife and son !! :-)

Hello great job , i have a few questions, can you do this over an existing granulated cap sheet with a low sloping roof?if yes, or would you need to place down asphalt first over the cap sheet so it will stick or do you nail down the base and then put on the granulated roof?

you call me and we can talk about it. This was a plan in the the past. The training would have included, Torch Down, marketing, estimation, Hiring the right person. Choosing the right job. If we can get 5 people together to want to train then it is worth it.

most of the time I use Turbo Poly Seal. Super Silicone I use on skylights and EPDM Rubber Roofs

I think many of your subscribers would enjoy watching you explain to us when to choose between turbo poly seal and super silicone. I think you could make a very interesting video on this topic explaining the pros and cons of each and perhaps even how Bergstrom compares to other similar flashings. @@FlatRoofDoctor That is Polyglass self-adhered roofing. You're supposed to remove the existing roofing. From the current published specs for Polyglass self-adhered SBS roofing: "When re-roofing, *remove all prior roofing materials* down to a clean debris-free substrate and properly close off all abandoned roof penetrations." From the text of the Polyglass 20-year warranty: "The original installation of the roofing membrane must be in accordance with Polyglass current published specifications." That roof could never be warranteed for 25 years.

I would not have been paid if there was a leak. I billed them 2 months later. BTW, I have been doing roofing for over 40 years. Everyone have there own tricks and methods. Just because I do it a different way than you, doesn't mean it is wrong. Make some videos and show your method. That might be helpful.

I have never left a comment or review on anything until today. I have viewed a few of your tutorials you have about how to do roofing. You are not a professional competent roofer at all. You cannot torch properly and have almost zero knowledge on basic flat roof systems There are so many steps you miss and do not know about that I can’t list them all The customers you do roofs for are not getting any professional workmanship You need to stop roofing on your own and go get hired at a reputable roofing company so you can learn how terrible you are at roofing. I sincerely hope you take this advice as your future customers deserve a roof done correctly Good luck

I’ve been roofing for 43 years and your work is different the way you do things there it’s all scruffy and dirty and you don’t keep things uniform I would sack a roofer if he did work like that I can’t believe people say you do a nice job I’m not slagging you of just the way you do it
