Flathead fishing with bait at Kings Beach South Australia on the Fleurieu Peninsula. I managed to catch a nice Flathead on a size 6 long shank hook using Cockles (Kuti) for bait and a Mullet on size 6 Octopus hooks also using Cockles (Kuti) for bait. We battered and deep fried the fillets for dinner. We were using fresh cockles or Kuit or Pipi for bait that we caught off Goolwa Beach (not far from Victor Harbor) the day before. Kings Beach on the Fleurieu Peninsula is near Victor Harbor in South Australia and is a great South Australian fishing spot where you can catch Flathead, Mullet and Whiting.
