My old fellow gamers , wish you all had great time playing those games ... we all witnessed those amazing years of gaming evolving to something bigger than it ever was ...
When I first played this, I was immediately addicted to it. The crash physics were so satisfying. Now I have beamng, I still think about this game every time I crash a car.
Same man I played this with my brother and dad and it was some of the greatest memories I ever had, just the three of us racing each other, laughing god those were good times
I was like 12-13 when this game released, the local tech store had a TV-PS2 setup where me and 4 other boys went every recess to play the game. Same christmas i got the game and the disc still lives on 🤩
Grandson : Dad , what is Fffflat Out ? Is like Fall0ut ? Son : Come here little boy..... Im gonna tell you a story..... Granfather (me) : *See's all that and cry*
That fact that this game came out the year I was born and I played it through the whole way through just a while ago is just amazing to me. I never realized how old this game is 😂. Still a fun game none the less😊
Hehe yep, i can relate. This game was alot of fun. Never really even bothered to play the newer Flatout games, i don't think they have the same charisma at all.
@@theblackbull55 This is so goddamn true. But the original game... It is old, but gold, even to these days. Atleast thats my opinion. I myself didn't have a computer by that time, but my mate had. I can still remember me visiting him when we were a lot younger. We used to play the game back then. We had so much fun. I can also still remember when his mother told us that I should go home now, late in the night, but often I did not. I went out, just to crawl back in from the outside in my friends room, so we can play some more Flatout. We are old now, but we still do talk sometimes about these times. We like to remember them. Oh god, i am almost getting a bit emotional here.
This is so nostalgic I played this with my brother and dad and it was some of the greatest memories I ever had, just the three of us racing each other, laughing, god those were good and simple times.
Oh. My. Fucking. God. What im feeling isn't nostalgia, its something way more powerful, i remember playing this when i was 9 and ive played it non stop everyday, until i was 11. now im 15 soon 16 and typing this while listening to the song is just making me have goosebumps.
I’ve played this game when I was in grade school! Not even in middle school yet! Now I’m turning 30 this year and I miss this game so much! But now we have a modern version of Flatout called Wreckfest
This song is already gold to me. I got this game because of Insignia releasing (hopefully) soon, and I just popped the game in 5 minutes ago to test it. Next thing you know I was sitting on the menu grooving out to THIS. I love Flatout 2 and Wreckfest so I can’t wait to see how the series started. (Insignia is a replacement for the original Xbox Live and this game is probably going to be supported, so now you know what that’s all about)
Flatout 2 and Ultimate Carnage are still fantastic, but stylistically were more shiny and cluttered with objects. I really like the old school, rustic look of the original Flatout. Every Flatout game that came after Ultimate Carnage was/is absolute trash, from what I’ve heard.
I bought the FlatOut Collection on Steam a couple years back. Had the first two on PS2. For a twelve-year-old game, it still looks as awesome as I remember it way back then.
