hi, next time use a stainless steel strainer. you can pour directly in your jar/container or ice cube tray while the fenuqueek is very hot. no need for a nut milk bag. indigenous stranndz stimmers her flaxseed until seeds makes the gelling. i find the flaxseeds gel is thicker. however some prefer for their flax seed gel not to be thick

Hi ❤I love your tips! When I move I’ll buy the strainer !! While the seeds were simmmering I couldn’t see the gel directly, so I wonder if the foam I was referring to as the “cast” is the indicator that gel has formed? Thanks ❤

@@hintofjayyes the form is the gel. When simmering you gain more gel. When boiling the flaxseeds the foam is less i find unless someone uses a lot of flaxseeds. I will use 6-8 tablespoons of flaxseeds 16 ounces of water or 24ounces of water. You are learning what your hair n scalp likes love or do not like. When you change the cycle or phase when cleansing & condition your hair n scalp things changes. Momentum changes. So keep a journey of your hair routine/regimens. Peace
