Ray Charles was laughing so hard that he almost fell out of his chair, especially when Flip leaned on his head and said "Trust me Ray, trust me." Ray is cracking up!
Flip Wison and Ray Charles together! What an entertaining duo! Both have passed away, but we can still laugh and enjoy their comedy act. A retired Catholic priest in Canada.
"I must admit, that's kind of a terrible price for me to pay" ,..Ray was smooth with that insult delivery and Flips' facial expression to it wS on point.
Flip, er Geraldine, certainly had the moves that would bring any man to his knees, including the great Ray Charles! This is priceless. We miss you, Flip!
haha 'Geraldine' started it all back in the day!!! Who didn't love Flip Wilson. My Grandma used to laugh until she cried when GJ appeared each week. Notice how the audience is genuinely roaring with laughter. No 'applause' sign needed, I'm sure. Thanks for this!!!
I absolutely LOVE Geraldine! , I did when a was little girl, and even more now...this is what TV is missing, Flip and Ray are just FANTASTIC, and is it just me, or does Flip have great legs! WOO Tell the truth honey! and sing the song Ray!
BOTH WERE SUPER SUPER GREAT. LOVE BOTH OF THEM. GERALDINE, WAS JUST GREAT. LOVED WATCHING HIM. R I P BOTH OF YOU. YOU ARE SO MISSED ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶
OMG! What a crack up. Ray Charles was so good. And who knew Geraldine could sing! I watched this show every week when I was a little kid and LOVED it. Thank-you so much for posting this, it's brought back such great memories.
Flip was so talented! A friend of mine met him when he was performing on a cruise ship. She said he was very nice to all of his fans and so easygoing and approachable. A really nice guy.
Holy cow, just ran across these recently been laughing my ass off. Takes me back to a much simpler time in life, miss my dad used to watch the show all the time with him.
This was terrific and great TV back in the 60's through to the early 80's. The days of these types of shows are long gone, and most likely never to return...
He sure was. TV comedy shows were better back then there was no profanity on tv. Nowadays every comedian makes disgusting, dirty jokes and they all cuss in their whole show. I wish they would show re-runs of Flip Wilson! He was a great comedian and one of a kind.
CANDACE, A TIME WHEN ONE ACTUALLY HAD TO BE TALENTED TO BE A STAR. STARS/CELEBRITIES TODAY HAVE CHEAPENED WHAT IT MEANS TO EVEN BE A STAR... THINK KARDASHIAN -FAMOUS FOR NOT A DAMNED THING AND THAT'S HOW MUCH TALENT THEY HAVE NOTHING! BLESS THE GOOD OLD DAYS!!
Dec.8: Happy birthday Mr. Flip Wilson, 2 x Emmy award winner (1933-1998) Thank you and God bless. RIP...thanks for the upload. Blessings...this is classic TV.
What a hoot! God bless them both!! They don't make them like that anymore ....So glad we have these clips!! The other one that is unbelievably hysterical is the one with Flip as Geraldine the Playboy Bunny ...with Bing Crosby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Geraldine was out of her mind lol. All fast anf sassy. I was a young adult and would schefule my date around Flip Wilson. It was so nice that family would sit togethet snd LAUGH! I miss those days and Mr. Wilson.
You’re’ right. Geraldine was sassy. And so funny. Flip made her so witty, lovable and sexy. What an actor/comic! So pleased to see this clip posted - thank you!
@@sheg1969 Yes it definitely would have!! He was Gold back in the 70's. Geraldine was Everything. She was so huge, funny and cute, that many people forget that Flip Wilson was underneath the costume. That's how brilliant he was. I'll love him forever.
Have and will always love these men. Thank you Ray Charles and Flip Wlson for entertaining us so successfully with your great talents!!! We miss and love you! Continue t o R.I.P.
Flip Wilson said that he got the nickname of Flip when he was in the Navy from his friends, but I forgot the reason why. Thanks for sharing this great skit of music, and happiness with others. ✌️💞
I swear, Flip always made me laugh because he was so right about the way women acted when Ray Charles came to town. My mom and her neighbor friends would be in a 'tither'. The men would be laughing at them too, including my Dad. It was hilarious. Geraldine is the start of it all....I sure miss those days of this show. I'd gladly miss a date on those Tuesday nights it came on. I had to see it....
