Your results are not atypical. I've seen a few other reviews that had results that were even worse than yours. Those "perfect pancakes" look more like a perfect disaster. BTW, #ChristyBuyers tried it on a griddle... it still failed.
Chris Nemec I'm Very upset I had purchased this product and I tried to see other people's thoughts are, and I'm not sure if this will work we did get it at a cheap price so it is not a big deal.Although I'm very concerned I'll see if my version will work -By Angelz blazin 34 (AA Awesome Angel)
If they said his results were just 'atypical' they'd be saying his pancakes didn't turn out like other people's who used this thing. Just saying. I also don't see an issue with using 'atypical' instead of 'not normal' - you don't like people using more intellectual language or something?
@@ShintogaDeathAngel Actually he's doing reviews on appliance people may utilize or not. Just giving his own opinion. He's not teaching English Literature at Harvard... Take a break! Go read a book then...
How did you NOT fall on your ass from all the cooking spray on the floor?? Seriously has to be the most ridiculous product I've ever seen. Love your reviews!
A lot of these things are quite good for people who are differently abled, when they work as intended of course. If you're able to use a spatula and pan as normal then I wouldn't waste money on this thing, mostly because it doesn't do what it promises.
@Freakin' Reviews thank you for your videos! I've always wondered about a lot of these products if they really work as advertised. Clearly this pancake thing is a total disaster, but I've seen many of your other videos where the products work well. Keep up the good work and thanks again!
I hated this product the minute I saw it on tv, Any experienced cook spit their coffee out laughing when this product popped up on the tv. Thnks for torturing yourself testing it for our enjoyment though!
Anyone who has ever cooked at all is laughing at it. My father picked one up and it was a struggle not to laugh at him for buying it. If you want round Egg McMuffin style eggs or similarly portioned pancakes, don't waste your money on this. Buy a $.99 can of tuna or chicken and take the top and bottom off it. You now have a much better form to use that is easily flipped with a spatula and tongs.
Wish I would've watched this before I bought mine. I wouldn't have wasted my eggs. The pancakes worked using a griddle but the eggs fell right through. I love gadgets, some really work great, most don't though.
Pancakes = fail. Eggs = fail. And there you are soldiering on with the hash browns. And you even let that failed flipper keep its dignity by cleaning it. I salute you Flippin Fantastic.
mine worked perfectly the first time cause you showed me all the pitfalls that could happen...I wish I could post the end result pictures here cause they were great.
You have saved me from spending money! My daughter and I were convinced this was going to be an amazing purchase, but I will stick with my salad dressing shaker to make my pancakes! Thank you Mr Fantastic Review! Keep doing what your doing and sharing your up close, and R E A L review coverage!
Hi Hope, and thanks for the comment. The only way I've been able to get this to work at all (with pancakes at least) is with a flat griddle, which is clearly not how it is advertised.
On the flipping fantastic. Instructions read HOLD down the flipping in the pan with a spatula 15-20 seconds then pour liquid in The holes. Try it ! ! Also on the smoke -less grill - put water in the black tray approx 1/2 cup to the water line. MY burgers & 1inch rib eye steak had little to none smoke.
This was probably meant for a flat griddle instead of a pan with sides. The problem with them being unevenly heated is because you didn't rotate the pan to get even heat.
Some things are easy enough without dumbing it down. Actually would take more time to try to use this than to just pour pancake batter on a skillet and flip with a spatula
Im suprised the product was boxed folded. I think that it's been misshapped for a long time which is why its not flat in the pan!? Not sure if I am right but makes sense to me. Great review, was thinking of buying as the tv ad looked great lol
I think its made for those like really flat pans, that doesn't curve early or that doesn't have a high outer lip like the first 2 tests. Id say like a 12-15 inch pan instead. Obviously not lower.
I bailed out at the 8:43 mark. I was going to ask, " Does the 'flip' lay flat on a larger smooth surface?" But the question is moot. Thanks for saving me $14.95 + s/h!
I did do that in a follow-up video. Keep in mind that the advertising and instructions never say it's for use with a griddle. The 2c Chicks also tried it in a pan first and had the same results. Thanks for the comment.
Could you review Dial Vision? Saw it this morning on tv. They are glasses that you are supposed to be able to adjust to your individual eyes. They aren't very attractive but if they work you could save a lot of money.
I only paid less that $24 for my Rx glasses at zenni.com. And that was with a better hydrophobic coating. I did use a coupon code for the first coating for free. I think it was freear or similar. So far they have lasted me almost 2 1/2 years.
I bought this but very sorry I did. It does not lay flat in any pan! The directions say to heat both sides in a hot skillet for 20 seconds, but that did not work either. Good idea but not up to what they hype!
Don't know if you use an iPhone or not there's a product that is available for the android phone as well as iPhone a magnetic charging cable & I was inquiring if you could do a review on this item?
love your reviews. thank you ! PS.. did anyone slip on the floor when you sprayed Pam over the floor area when you held it up to spay 2nd pancake try?(3:05) 😉 😉 😃
Too much batter the first time yes, but not the second time. I assume you mean "griddle" and not "grill." The commercial only shows it being used with a pan, which is why I attempted to duplicate what they show in the advertising.
I had the same situation. My pancake was a mess and disfigured. The pancake mould is a fake. The advertisement shows beautifully mould easy pancake but fact says otherwise. Don’t waste your money buying this pancake mould.
I did not get directions with mine, so I didn't know to spray the silicone . I also poured them too full. It works best in a 12" skillet so there is room for it to lay flat. I sprayed with oil the second batch and filled the openings half full. Keep temp to medium heat and flip when all of them are brown. The last 2 will be lighter, but none of them will be too done. It worked just as it should. And with the eggs, they fell thru for you because you loosened them before you flipped them. This was not a fair review at all.
Shirley Bricker so wish i had watched this before i got one of these!! just tried to use for the first time and i have found the perfect storage place for it. its called the rubbish bin!!
I never used this product but the uneven cooking has to do with the pans transfer of heat and not the product making uneven cooking minus the no touch pancake
So...am I the only one that regardless would've eaten all of this? Lol. I also would've just done sunny side up eggs and not flipped them. This thing is quite the tragedy.
This came across my suggested page lol. Was wondering if it worked when I saw it on the preview, evidently NOT lol. I love things that save me time/etc. but this would end up in the trash.
It just doesn't make sense. Even on a flat even cooking surface, it looks like it would take so long to fill up all the holes that you're guaranteed to cook each one a different amount.
Uhhh, i do like your reviews....and i get some people have issues with some "as seen on tv" things.....but i use one of these near daily..... how, is the fill line that hard for you to see. I wear glasses and actually saw it when i read that it has one.... Trial and error i guess. This product actually works pretty good for most things though.
Three videos in a row an everyone seems to agree, this thing deserves, the Sux Ass Award. Thanks Guys for the reviews ! I will not wast my money on one of these.
You got to try EMRILS MUFFIN MAKER. TRY THAT MACINE AND MAKE PANCAKES. THEY COME OUT COOKED AND FLUFFY. AND THEY ARE THE BEST. I MAKE THEM ALL THE TIME AND I MAKE EGGS. AWSOME
I bought this for 1.99 at the 99 cent store and decided to watch your video first. It looks like a hot mess...lol. Can't wait to try it and won't feel bad if I have to throw it away.
YIKES! Thanks so much! I almost bought this as a gift for my Sis!...Saved me MAJOR embarrassment as well as being the butt of jokes for who knows how long! Phew! I'll just order those tried and true single ones. God Bless! 😇 LIKED and SUBSCRIBED 🙋
Those pancakes are too small to be worth the price of the product 😒 They should have made it to hold only 5 instead of 7. At least the eggs turned out somewhat ok. I just need something to mold the eggs, not flip them 🙂
This may be the most flippin' useless product since the 'Pet Rock'. How it ever got beyond the test marketing phase is beyond me. If I saw this in a Dollar Store, I would consider it overpriced.
