My childhood friend's parents had a blue Sequoia. Basically grew up in that thing. I saw them over thanksgiving, and they FINALLY replaced it this year because a dodge charger slammed into them at Mach Jesus on the interstate. They were completely fine.

I have a 2010 Platinum. 165k and still runs perfect. It just got 18ish mpg on a road trip to and from Galveston. Most days, it hangs around 15 mpg. It drinks for sure, but not much worse than my Prelude.

I have a 2011 Chrysler Town and Country and if you take care of them they are decently reliable. The stow and go feature makes it a really good daily cause the seating arrangement is modular. If i need immediate cargo space i can fold all the rows into the ground and have a space large enough to put a queen size air mattress. If i need space for people it seats 7. And on top if that when the middle row is up the storage place in the floor where the seats fold into can be used and a sizeable hidden storage compartment. It gets between 15-19mpg depending on how you drive and mine has the optional touchscreen which is definitely a must cause it lets you connect your phone audio to the car speakers.

Have a 07 sequoia 2wd, for 5200, not a bad truck but it is a pain to park but not a bad tow rig

My parents had a sequoia with the 5.7 the car makes no sense if all you have is a family of 4. The thing is a chore to park in a city, handles like an air craft carrier and literally get 10mpg city and 14hwy

As a lifted 1st gen sequoia owner, buy one and wheel it they're good off-road :)

Nebraska does not salt the roads due to the heavy agriculture nature of the state. Nothing grows where salt goes. That and the massive system of watering ducts says no beueno to salt or magnesium.

Every 1st Gen Sequoia for sale is going to need the timing belt/water pump change and that's a book time of 6 hours IIRC. Even doing it yourself is going to take more, time patience and energy than pulling heads on an LS.

My 07 Acura RDX shifts perfectly at 287k. My wife’s 09 MDX is also very nice at 150k. I also had a 01 MDX in high school, she had 350k before it was hit in a parking lot and totaled. MDX 1st 2nd and 4th gen are Amazing family haulers. Sh-awd really helps
