You, and Your Wonderful Family, stay safe, and dry! Ya'll are Awesome! God bless, and keep Eric's Family Safe&Sound! Amen!!!!!!🙏🙏🙏👍👍🫶 jim&kim Fowler!!!
water is such a powerful force, I was happy it rained, because for a while last night we had heavy lightning on this side of Sevier county and no rain and that can create a wildfire issue
Back in the day when I thought I was bullet proof & my gonads were the size of coconuts, I would ride those torrents in a kayak !! God is merciful cause I'm still here & know better ! 😂
The untamed, raw power of water in motion!! WOW! I'm sure it would be a lot of trouble but it would be neat if you could just insert a little picture in the corner of some of these shots to show us what 'normal' looks like. Ex. At the Alamo, what is normal? Riverhouse at the Park, what's that stream normally like? It would give even more emphasis to exactly how huge is the flooding. (I hope that makes sense!)
I am currently visiting in Central Texas The last few days have been 107, 109. Crazy I'm from , I never saw 109. We'd have a few days maybe 102, 105. But they've been seeing this for weeks now. Huge grass fires and brush fires everywhere. Pray for rain , please.
It don’t take much for the water to get rough and rise. It’s crazy to see how much water will rise and cause flooding. Where we live the storm surge if a hurricane came up our house would be over our house
Hopefully so. But if not grab an umbrella and get in the national park. Totally different experience in the rain. Like the forest is taking a deep breath and relaxing.
So unusual, these flooding videos from Gatlinburg normally show up in late winter early spring. Is it from the ground being saturated from the July rainfall and now multiple heavy storms days apart? Gets a point the ground can’t accept any more. Watch out for the falling trees from that saturated ground.
Yes indeed. Normally high water in the area this time of year is the result of a tropical storm. But you are correct, a few heavy downpours over the last couple days is the likely culprit here. Thanks as always !
