Glad to hear you are fine and that it wasn’t too bad for you and your family. Of course all my thoughts are for the ones that were impacted by Milton and my best wishes to all of you ❤
From one Floridian to another I'm glad your safe in the wake of Milton. I am supposed to be in Plant City in early November, how is the storm clean up coming along. Any place still extremely flooded from Milton. Any info would be wonderful.
Plant City is doing fine. The roads are completely free of debris. There’s still lots of trees that need to be picked up on the side of the roads. No flooding in Plant City that I’m aware of.
My father used to work for AT&T. He was always sent to Florida after a hurricane. The stories he told of the damage he saw firsthand in the 80's and 90's were very disturbing.
It has been a rough past going on 3 weeks here hasn't it? And it's not over unfortunately there's another trying to build in the Caribbean and one behind it in the Atlantic unfortunately. We all learned not to build homes with French doors and sliding glass doors to the outside with these two storms..
Glad to hear that you and your family are safe. Praise the Lord! Continue prayers for you and everyone impacted by these two devastating storms. Hoping to send a group down to North Carolina to help with hurricane relief through Samaritans purse in the very near future. We would go to Florida, but that is a very long drive from Wisconsin. We may end up there eventually though.
Glad that you and your family are safe. I'm surprised you left your outdoor speakers out in the hurricane. A quick disconnect and moved indoors might save you of a future headache. I know there outdoor speakers but are they rated for hurricanes? Better safe than sorry. Be well and god bless all Floridians with these terrible storms.
Having grown up in Florida myself, just curious if you are concerned about gators when you are walking through floodwaters? Here in Australia, sometimes when there is flooding in Queensland there will be both crocs and sharks in flooded areas.
I am not sure how to setup the transducers should I use a DSP and determine the best hzs or should I just use my subwoofer LFE from the AVR not sure on how to get the best out of it that I can.
Hi Mike , Glad that you and your family are ok and safe. excellent time to start videos on how to make your home self sustaining with alternative power sources or Power walls .
Wow, I couldn’t imagine, living down in Florida, or along any coast… I live near a large body of water, but it’s not an ocean… I live in Chicago, so we have Lake Michigan… which is nice, though it will lead to some severe weather, in both in terms of rain/tornados/wind in the summer, and snow, in the winter… but nothing like what you experience down in the state of Florida, during Hurricane season… but glad to see you are all doing well, and are all safe!
I wanted to mention that Kevis & Films rated you as #1 for the top five in Home Theater RU-vid channels. I of course would definitely agree! It’s been maybe 6 years since following you! I just wanted to let you know that I’m grateful for your encouragement in a journey I’m just getting ready to begin. I bought the movies, close to 3000 movies from Blockbuster, Hollywood video, Family Video etc.. but just starting the place to play them. Painted the room black that’s it!! 😂 Keep doing what you’re doing!! ❤
@Youthman good deal. Look into some solar batteries. I got ecoflow, you can get em at the home center and Costco. Anker is another big brand. These companies will definitely send you product to review.
I was just saying how 3 miles down the road it's aan apocalyptic hellscape and we're here eating cookies watching football. Our power blinked once during the storm, other than that nothing crazy. A block over they were without power for 4 days
