This is a very thought provoking video, and props to you for talking about something not many think about. I don’t have much info as im just a shelter worker, there are around 14,000 people in shelters in Florida alone, with 700,000 meals already served in the Carolina’s and that’ll be going on for months or even years. Now I don’t know what’s being done with the inmates, I doubt they can stay in the emergency shelters but I do know that there are very good people on the ground who don’t discriminate and do everything they can to make sure everyone has food, water and a place to rest.
I heard from someone online, not sure if it's true but prisons or jails won't usually broadcast or speak on when they move inmates because it poses a security risk. Not sure if this is true but the inmates may already have been moved. Not sure though. However if they are still in that prison then it just further shows the corruption of authority figures, it's just as bad if not worse than parents abandoning their kids because these people have a responsibility and regardless what the guards or whoever think of these inmates it's still morally wrong and irresponsible to abandon these people.
They do not care anything about those inmates. In fact, if they died, they could have trapped their spirit's here. Soul harvesting. Love to y'all. Hi K-Rino.
As a person that grew up in jail, from age 14 to 29. Sometimes we know nothing else. Jail is Sometimes a solution to a crazy life. Folks truly don't understand
Prayers for these inmates. Yea I thought I heard the same thing happened in new orleans too. so wrong to let these people lose their life over something that Could have been prevented. I bet you if there was a war at our front door They would have let them people out.🙏🏿🙏🏽🙏🏻
It is unfortunate that people allow themselves to adopt the mindset that classifies other people as less than human. After this mindset is adopted, all the inhumane activities can be justified. It would be the worst for any person or animal to be confined or caged during a natural disaster and prohibited from even basic survival.
So K-Rino. Real question! If this is judgement, aren’t people supposed to receive their judgement? It are they supposed to flee and not suffer from the judgement? Or is this just judgement on the infrastructure and finances of this country America? And if that is the case. Is that not still causing hunger, poverty, homelessness, death and suffering still..?
Cynical cruelty is not Justice! Both religiously and morally, cutting lives short-not out of any necessity-before they get the chance to reform and rehabilitate is a heinous offense to me. Recidivism is so high because the debt and economic mobility of freed prisoners are not proportional to the job market and what is available.
This right here. Most are probably drug dealers. Now I dont like people making money off peoples addictions that destroy families and relationships. However if that is an option do we think people aren’t going to do it when this world is financially hard. And hard to get a job that isn’t absolutely miserable and you hate to go to…
That's so sad. Use them for free labor and then kill them in a hurricane. I'm glad their governor didn't get far in the presidential race. Smh, on this one, king! Sorry y'all, I'll pray for all of you. 💯🖤🤎💛🩶💯
Been to prison four times. They're made of concrete and steel, as long as they don't flood they're good. They have backup generators, they'll be on lockdown until the power comes back on. They should put a workforce together on iates that are non-violent and close to the door. Let them help and not have to do probation/parole.
I agree that they should take care of the inmates like anybody else but I don't agree that God is aiming tornados at innocent children due to emotional limitations. God goes way beyond and transcends concepts like judgement.
