Hi, everyone. So this is how I get my floss ready for full coverage projects. I like using thread organizer. Do some math, measure how much thread I probably need, and keep the rest floss. That's pretty much it. 😬 This is not a professional way. It's just how I do it. Hope it gives a little bit inspiration. 😁

I enjoy how you keep everything organized. I always feel like the beginning and setting everything up takes a long time but it helps the projects stay on track and keeps everything from getting confusing

I like make everything like kit. It's so much easier to get the thread. I'm really enjoying this project. 😌

Love this video. I had a thought, when you put the floss number on the piece of paper that goes in the baggy maybe mark like 3 lines to show what you have cut off and removed or put 7 for what's left?

Bonjour Ching. Je ne savais pas comment organiser mes fils lorsque que je commençais un projet non vendu en kit. J'ai fait mon échantillon et j'ai coupé mes fils à la bonne longueur. C'est super ! Merci beaucoup à toi ! Keep stitchin' ! 🤗💐

So glad that it helps 😄 It takes a lot of time to organize. But it's so convenient for stitching.

Just by watching this it makes me want to start a new project, but I'm already working on 5 of them 😱, pretty good organizing method, thanks for sharing 🙂

Is any of them close to finish? 😁😁 You can finish that one, and then start a new one. I want to make a promise that I won't start any new project any more in this year. But I know that's probably impossible. 🤣

I know this has nothing to do with cross stitching but I love your 4 leaf clover tattoo 💕

Something my mother taught me: Take paper bands off complete skein of floss, then separate floss until you notice there’s a hole in center, then you can “hang”’ floss over your wrist (left if right hand dominant) and unwind floss while wrist holds unwound floss for you. This also eliminates the knots and tangles you’re encountering. Thank you for sharing!!

That's a good way! Thank you Michele. 😊

I never thought about kitting up an HAED this way...I like it. May have to rethink how I have mines set up now. This way makes it so you are just ready to stitch like a pre stamped kit or a counted cross stitch kit. Also, are you using any cross stitch programs, or paper copy?? Thanks for sharing! Happy stitching!

Yes! That's my purpose to kit up.😁 It's really much easier and saves a lot of time than getting thread from bobbins. Recently I started using Pattern Keeper on my laptop. Before that, I used esPDF Reader to read PDF charts on iPad. Now it's a back up program when I don't stitch in front of laptop.
