Another idea for changing the color of the magnetic board is to use the sticky shelf liners. They have such pretty ones now, and it works great. I've used it to cover similar items at work :) I would love to do a SAL with Emerald City!

Hello my fellow Canadian. Sending you big hello from Tiny Ontario. It was so cold here we hit -37 and today we went to go to the supermarket and my car was over heating! We were worried and we asked a friend of ours and he said it sounds like your cookie t is frozen as we kept the car going it was ok so I hear you. I have been stitching for about a year but I would love to try different threads. I love all the different projects. And we had a black lab they are so loving.

Great video, you are always so happy and bright with a big smile. I love your projects. I am just finishing a Gold Collection Dimensions kit....just back stitching to complete. It is almost full coverage. I have one of those huge magnet boards...I love it. My dad made an easel for me to put it on and it is sitting on my stitching table right now with magnets holding my pattern in place. Love the stocking you picked out. Happy stitching.

Love your line up of WIPs, isn’t it fun to work on different projects. Years ago, I only worked on kits and Aida, one at a time. Now thanks to flosstube, I’ve created an inventory of patterns, fabrics and floss. I haven’t collected as much as some, but more than enough to keep me going with out acquiring more. But what is the fun in that! Happy New Year!

So good to see you again (I'm so behind on Flosstube.) I love your stitching, and all the projects you choose. Thank you so much for sharing them! The OF Wonderland is simply stunning! FYI--I think Crescent Colors = Classic Colorworks, which is a guess based on the fact that I have a Mira/Nora kit that calls for Crescent on the chart, and the floss included in the kit is Classic Colorworks. Still with you on the Emerald City stitch--I think I have 4-5 sections left to do.

I love that stocking. It’s one of the ones that I have considered buying. So pretty. The dimensions kits are wonderfully made. Love them but I rarely buy for myself either. I got a kit for Christmas. I should start that soon. I love the emerald city pattern. I want to do that one.

I love raw linen too! It is the perfect color for samplers and warm colored charts. I just ordered myself some more and thought what a great price for a perfect linen. You have such a nice variety of charts and gave me some ideas! I look forward to seeing some of those fairies framed up. Happy New Year from NB!

correct me if I'm wrong, but I think classic color works is color and cotton now.

Love all your projects! I just wanted to make you aware of the selvage (the orange line). It is woven in a way that the selvage should go vertical. If you stitch with the selvage horizontal, your stitches will be crooked, and the thread will not lay correctly. It will also be more difficult to stitch. You want a linen piece that is cut with the selvage on the right( or left).

I've a question...... as a new stitcher, I have been stitching in hand , rail roading every stitch on Evenweave . There is the debate that using a hoop or frame or scroll bar keeps the fabric tension better - to help make the stitches behave /look better . Would you consider addressing this - what you do and why. I see the frame you are using for the Christmas Stocking Aida kit ) ? I was thinking that putting the fabric in something would smoosh/be abrasive to the existing stitches as you move the frame around. ? ....or distort the fabric ? I hope this is not a LONG saga of a question, I just aspire to stitch even CLOSE TO, the beautiful stitching that you accomplish . All the very best ( ^ ; * ) marcia
