I continue my "How to Twirl a Baton" channel with the "Novice Baton Twirling" series by teaching my version of a flourish, also known as a whip, flash, and wind up. This move is one of the most common twirls in baton, so it is very important to learn it and to learn it right! This trick will also build up to more difficult, flashy twirls that you will learn later on through my channel. I go over this move step by step making sure to go over proper body work and technique.
*Note - When doing the loop part of the trick, the baton is pinched between the webbed part of your thumb and index finger.
