A bit jealous of such an emotional anthem. When the sound of bagpipes stops, and all the people at Murrayfield keep singing, I wish I would be Scot just to be in that crowd in that specific moment. It is nice to sing Fratelli d'Italia, it gives power when we scream at the end, but it is nothing like Flower of Scotland.

I found out recently that I am mostly Scottish. My 25th great grandfather was William the Bruce. This anthem is the best anthem ever. And singing it while playing against England makes it even better.

When my nana and papa passed away 8 years ago we had the family piper March and play this beautiful tune as they was brought in the church. I carried both my nana and papa and I will never forget the feeling of them pipes playing as I carried two amazing people to rest! They was so very proud to be Scottish and I am to ! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Come on Germany! The first football you played in Germany in 1870s was Rugby football, not Soccer(Association football). Rugby football is a real football, and a man's sport. There's nothing like diving and pretending to be hurt in Soccer game!

Freedom for ALBA. Freedom for Scotland which has been under English rule for over 250 years. Those who died at Culloden will feel pride the minute Scotland tells England where to go. Scotland needs to be a free sovereign nation and part of the EU. The time is coming. No more foreign monarchs, no being told what to do. When Scotland is free again, the moors will cry with joy.

@@imanomad557 Yes, my bad. In portuguese, my mother tongue, hymn and anthem mean the same thing, anthem being referred as "hino nacional", or a 'national hymn' of sorts.

I'm English, live near Leigh and Wigan which is rugby league territory but enjoy union too and came up to Murrayfield as a netural to watch Scotland v France in the 6N a few years ago when Scotland won, listening to both anthems was amazing and both so passionate, far better than our GSTQ which is dull and dreary
