I really don't think that's the case. That's just a rumor made by his haters. He's made close to a billion in earnings over his career and his net worth is around 450 million. It would almost be impossible to waste all that money. I'm sure he's got financial advisors that know better.
@@joys8634 i imagine it really is after u make $100 million in one night, go 50-0 etc. He has more right to drink and enjoy life than almost anyone wouldn't you say? He could do nothing for the rest of his life and his grandkids, grandkids would still have their college tuition paid for. So yes id say it's some next level discipline to be on the top for so long and not fall to temptations and complacency like so many other greats have. Just look at Tyson's life or even mcgregor. After achieving so much in such a high risk environment, its easy to cash out and have fun. For him to resist for so long with arguably no reason to do so is true dedication to a craft.
LeftHookOuch McArm they can’t do that because they don’t have the judges in their pocket.. no other boxer in history would get away with that.. it’s sickening., he’s tested positive for PEDs n nothing happened his testosterone was 7 to 1 n they did nothing he got caught with illegal iv use they did nothing it’s ridiculous
I remember Floyd saying that the jogging home from the club was in fact the motivation. He felt he was a leg up on everyone while he was running home at 4 AM and his competition was either one of the guys getting drunk at the club or still asleep in bed while he was working out.
Dustin is by far my favorite interview in regards to MMA fighters he has had as guests. Speaks well and is about his business. He is funny and just seems like a real enjoyable feller to be around. Be blessed DP. An thx Joe
@@electrikoptik actually the Netherlands is the tallest country in the world, so... 5’7” is normal in many parts of the world. I’m 6’2” I don’t give a fuck anyway
I was with him for two days, he’s focused didn’t see him eat junk food didn’t see him w/ alcohol. Floyd is a solid fighter who treats his body like a temple, he truly earned everything he has made.
Ikr! Its not a secret that he's into real-estate. From what the public knows..he has real-estate is Las Vegas,, NYC, Miami, LA, Birmingham, Mi and Grand rapids. He also has the Mayweather fitness franchise all over the country and lets not forget his promotion co with Tank Davis as his lead fighter🤷♂️
This one made seriosly download spotiy, it's too ineresting to just watch the clips. Great work from Justin, JRE and Spotify on this one. Keep it up and mke the interviews interesting. Great work!
It seriosuly took me an hour to register as a student on spotify, this hsit sucks, there's no comment section and it's not user friendly at all. But you need it to see the full pod-casts. I hate it. Great podcast tho.
Floydd was great. He won over 3 generations of fighters, almost 400 rounds and only got in trouble 5 times. Pass the 8th round his opponents gave up. They came to the fight with the certainty of their victories, but in the late rounds they realized it was impossible for them to win. It is such a thing to make a fighter give up, break their will.
Joe says the dumbest shit sometimes “floyd is never outshape a day in his life, he is always training” Then say “floyd had a ring around his waist look like he didnt even train vs tenshin”
Spotify on Android can only play 5 minutes before it decides to skip track, crash, or go to an ad. RU-vid clip of 5:05 beats that. Spotify app on par with Parlour.
The thing i always notice about joe is that his posture is perfect and especially when he turns and looks at the screen you can really see it. Hes like a what andefault human is supposed to be when it takes care of itself how its supposed to
Glad he's getting the notice now. Always been like this though. I've always liked him for the reasons people are recognising him for. Same as Wonderboy, both of them are role models.
In U.S culture guys like that are only respected *once Hollywood Make a ‘Wolf of Wall Street’ type of movie about them or they tragically die. It’s a Sad Reality
@Ivey 96 Lol it isn’t because he’s black it’s because ppl who don’t actually watch boxing don’t like his defensive style and arrogant personality, he intentionally plays a heel character. People don’t like watching him wave his money around (jealousy possibly) but it’s not his race lol. Mike Tyson is probably the most popular boxer ever and he’s a black guy too?
@Ivey 96 Loma was the pound for pound number 1 until Lopez beat him but he wasn’t nearly as popular as floyd, If you ask a random American on the street who Lomachenko is they have no idea. Loma gets props from ppl who actually watch boxing and enjoy technical fighters with good defense, and those same ppl for the most part acknowledge Floyd as the best defensive fighter ever. Floyd plays a heel to get ppl to dislike him on purpose and buy the pay per view to watch him lose, let me guess ppl don’t like Colby Covington for the same reason because he’s white?
It's amazing that Joe, who has watched thousands of fights and Dustin, who is a fighter cannot see that Floyd VS Tenshin was rigged. Straight mockery. It was so obvious. 🥊
Some perspective: the torture ain’t running home, the torture is drinking water around a bunch of drunk normals. Wow I can feel it. The run home is the best part!
I remember Nazir Richardson in the corner of the Mosely-Mayweather and him telling Shane "This boy's gift is his conditioning." Floyd may act a certain way when he's out with his people but he know what pays all the bills.
