Dear Lisa and Drake. Love your lessons. First to improve my English and second to lighten up (or to 'pimp' as we say it in Dutch) my own language. I recently got an editorial job but 'my heart was not in it'. Now I am trying to find a translation to explain it in the English way. Another expression that hit me today was 'red flags'. I am breaking my brains to translate this without using many words. Dutch is a stiff and starchy language, that is why I love yours so much. Thanks so much.

To have a heart = do not be cold-hearted (to see where s.o is coming from = to understand one's situation, idea,...) 15. A way to a man's heart is through his stomache 16.
