Lisa, who teaches English on RU-vid channel, dare I say, is my favorite English teacher and has saved me ample times while I have hanged by a thread on my learning journey. She never gives me a song and dance; she just cuts to the chase and gets to the point. Thank you so much!
I was eagerly looking forward to this video. I appreciate that you create an election-related video each election year, as it’s incredibly helpful to me. Thank you 🙏.
Lisa.,simple request. Pls post video on regular basis. The amazing part is that you explain pronounciation part in detail which no one has done before.
Passing the baton is the most significant act of respect which any politician could do. Good luck in choosing your destiny America whatever it could be.
Thank you Lisa for opening our eye on how Kamala is not fit to become a president. I couldn’t quite decide who to vote for but your video exposing how she is not the sharpest tool in the box made my choice clear .
Hi Lisa, i am waiting your high- anticipated lesson. They are endorsed by many learners like me who want to brush up on their English skills. Dare I say another lessons dont have your qualities to teach effectively. Tons of thanks
Great Lisa! Carry on teaching us through these very important expressions.Could it be possible to teach something in connection with Management,Transport and logistics and Marketing ? Paul from Congo Brazzaville.
Thank dear Lisa. You're an excellent 👍 teacher. Although I 've a Master Degree in English,I still try to work hard concerning the American accent especially the 😂flap "t" as well as I watch CNN news regularly and most significantly in these days before the US election....... Greeting from Tunisia 💕.
Speaking of Kamala you could also teach her various accents! ''You better thank the union membAS foUA the SIIIIICK LEAAAAAVE....'' Southern, ''I LAU YUU TO'' Mexian, ''HAAVE YUU NOH empathy MAAN'' Jamaican and the list goes on and on
@@lordronn472 that’s interesting! I see that a lot in German, too. That we adapt very quickly to the dialect of the people we are talking to. I have always thought that’s a sign of mutual appreciation. We listen carefully and want to make sure to be understood.
In this tumultuous time, it has been a relief an a pleasure to see this objective and unbiased class, masterly addressed by Lisa. Thank you very very much
Hi Lisa. Could you please explain a response to Tony Hinchcliffe s joke: “to be fair. None of the comic had great sets at Nuremberg, either”. I appreciate it.
Thank you, Professor Lisa, for teaching us all these expressions. Although they are hard for me, I would not give up and would keep making my own progress on this learnig journey! Thank you again, beloved Professor Lisa!!
First of all I have to give props before your professionalism of selecting these expressions and still staying neutral about the election showing no sign of leaning on either side.
I always enjoy the variety of your English lessons. Thank you for being an important part of my English learning journey. Please make some more videos after the presidential election and on the presidential inauguration. I look forward to learning new expressions/idioms related to the American political context.
Thanks a Lot to help me understand these expressions. English is my second linguage. I have been doing my best to learn because I am going to USA next December.
Interesting video. I like to improve my English listening to the candidates....but I must say that I am not able to understand what Kamala says. I am speaking about "learning English", not about politics
another excellent english lesson on this youtube channel. Thanks a lot for your continued effort to create this kind of videos, Lisa. The election is historical tight this year at least according to the latest polls and I can't wait until the outcome is official. The washington post and the Los Angeles Times produced headlines for not endorsing a candidate. Usuallly both newspapers endorse the democratic candidate. Apart from those two media companies Harris gets lot's of support from the Obama's and Bill Clinton in her campaign.
@farzan000 No worries; my IQ is well above 80. However, I’m concerned that ‘Dementia Don’ needs his to be at least slightly above zero to put together a coherent sentence. His English is about as good as Melania’s. Moreover, with six bankruptcies on his record, how can anyone expect him to manage our country? Only the best people with "high IQ" like you can support him.😅😅😅🤣🤣
@@beatazuk8044Trump is a competent leader. He proved his competency in his first term 2017-2020) with secure borders, low inflation, low crime rate, and of course peace internationally. What is Kamala achievement? Nothing but high inflation, broken borders with millions illegal immigrants, and a total chaos in the world. She is incompetent DEI-hired in her all life.
I thought we learned during the Biden residency that it was ageist to point out obvious dementia. Has that rule changed? Or is it okay to say in this case because it's false? Just trying to keep up.
One side, backed by genius entrepreneurs like Elon Musk, the other side, backed by celebrities like Beyonce! ... Vote for Trump to bring back the quality to the U.S. Administration.
@@winterlinde5395Nope! Wrong! ... Under a real Capitalist system like the .U.S. System, the entrepreneurs DO NOT GET money from people or government, rather they CREATE VALUE / WEALTH and the value / wealth trickles down, benefiting all people and the government. This is why the American are financially living better than other countries in the world.
You have no idea of what you’re talking about!! However, dare I say, what is new hearing people without any morals and integrity expressing their opinion about this ….. man 👹 🤣
Funny that you only used KH once. It speaks volumes. She has nothing to say, it's all word salad and lies. You shouldn't be teaching your students lies :)
