In no particular order and totally opinionated, just six of the many dope sets there were to choose from at Fluido Jam 7, Dec 16th 2012, Rome. Filmed by Doy.
ATN's flow is similar to Wing's in that it's intricate and unexpected. Wing just incorporates more blow ups which make it even more complex. Respect to both.
Can't speak about the atmosphere since I wasn't at the event, but just looking at the footage, I wasn't feeling Wing's set as much as some of the others. ATN, FE, and AT's sets were too dope tho.
ATN and AT were fire. Wing and FE are dope, but them and most of the Jinjo guys have been doing the same sets for years now so they just don't really excite me anymore. I wonder how they would do in a more intimate cypher environment rather than big stage crew battles.
Those guys don't usually base the entirety of their sets on those moves and they don't have the same number of pre-planned sets. The Jinjo guys switch it up a bit sometimes but for the most part their sets stay relatively the same. I lived in Korea for 2 years and went to a bunch of jams in Seoul that Jinjo were at. The first time in person those sets were cool, but after seeing them at multiple jams it got predictable. I think the unpredictability of breaking is what makes battles so special
Y'all talkin bout Wing's 2000s... yeah, they're nice and clean, but AT's set was pure fire. I think it's a form of compliment when Wing thinks he has to break out his cleanest power move to negate your set.
Ohh my Fudging Goddd these artists were all amazing they were on some new era new generation type Master full of Funk full of Origanal BBOY/BGIRL FLAVOR!!!!!!! True love and and masters of the new gENERATION OF BBOY!!
Tracklist: 6. 5.Eddie Warner - Brutus Drums 4.The Web - The Roots 3.Mary Jane Hooper - I've Got What You Need 2.Fort Knox Five - Blowing up the Spot (Ancient Astronauts Mix) 1.The Bees - Chicken Payback Peace.
People saying that it is curious that Wing knows when the DJ will scratch etc... It is also the job of a dj to react to the bboys... If you know what I mean
did wing injure his foot during this jam ? i didnt see him coming out for the most of the sets on the last one and i just saw skim touching his foot at the end
My favorite breakers are ones who react well to music, are creative and well rounded, and evolve their style as they progress. How can you tell me what my jam attendance or viewing habits are like if you don't know me personally? Disagree with me, fine, but making assumptions about my personal life doesn't help your cause.
ahaha xD 3:52 . look at the 2 kids in the mid left setting in the front . before the 2000's drops .. his like dude i wanna tell u somthin .. OHOHOHOHOHOHOHHHHHHH !!!!! xD
I would agree with you except that like I said they've been doing the same moves for years. You can find a lot of their same stuff from 3-4 years ago or longer. It doesn't make them not dope, but I have more respect for breakers who evolve and change their stuff over the course of a couple years. For me, it's getting old. That's why I wonder how they would do in cyphers where sets and routines won't cut it
Also, you think these other bboys and bgirls are creative, but they likely have been doing similar sets for years too - it's just that you don't see them enough to ever know.
