They both have strengths and weakness..If you’re into racing, HDZero is the way. If you’re into exploring, Bando flying, and need penetration, Walksnail might be the better option.

All the setup needs is a 90 degress barrel cable to xt60 instead of the adaptor

Hey, great video! I'm intrigued - will this setup (Walksnail VRX + Accsoon Seemo + iPhone) actually work? Could you share more about the connection, battery life, HDMI quality, etc.? If it pans out, it could indeed be the ideal minimal setup for those without goggles.

I think its straight forward as plugging the HDMI cable into the computer and goggle, and choosing HDMI in input on the goggles. You might need an adapter from standard HDMI to Mini HDMI depending on your computer.

You can eventually add it to your goggles, but it’s going to take some work, and will come at the cost of some increased latency. You’ll need and HDMI to analog converter or HDMI to RCA converter. Plug the HDMI out of the VRX to the converter, and plug the RCA/Analog Out of the converter to the input of the DJI V1 goggles. You’ll have to figure out a mounting solution to attach both the VRX and converter to the goggle.

Does anyone know if it is possible to connect Walksnail Avatar to virtual reality glasses via usb, for example, to Oculus quest 3?

well sadly/luckily im still on my OG cheap box goggles. not upset they do the job. but cant cheaply upgrade either way i go. either good analog goggles or just take the Digital leap gonna be expensive. great video awesome review!

Yeah, It’s a tough place to be when you have a box goggle with no inputs. I think once you make the jump to digital or have a pair of goggles with HDMI in, you’ll be open to more options. I think that why the HDZero goggles are so popular. Analog and digital in one.

having dom v3 and dji v2s. i honestly havent found anything else worth getting into ? i dont think hdzero or walksnail going to cut it for me at least unless i want it for a tiny whoop maybe. ive been disappointed lately as when it comes to the hobby all i find is sales and merchandise recomendayitons...lol. but informative video never the less

I can’t lie, I had the DJI Goggles v2, and used it for both Digital(DJI) and Analog flying. It was a good setup, and you arguably have a better setup in the Dom 3. I bought the HDZero goggles to eliminate the need for 3 or more goggles. At this point, I’m still stuck with 2 goggles, and probably will never need another pair.

@@OneManUnmanned i just cant justify spending 1k for digital whoop hd zero when i alreday have twig toothpick with caddix vista, besides the dji 2 goggles i dont feel like rolling back firmawares . thats why i didnt bother with the 03 units. its not like you get more range blurry edges. so i just stuck with the v2 goggles. hero seesion 5 cube does well enough for dvr in my opinion even know the better go pros .... i would be surpised if any systems come out over the next few years that are nothing more than knock offs with out any new cabablities

I would think that much weight in front of the goggle would push down pretty fierce down on your face. Usally designers put all the weight close to the face to avoid this..

It’s not that bad, but it does extend the Center of gravity a little it more forward. I think its still better than buying another pair of goggles.
