I'd rather see him fish. I don't need to see him sleep on a rock and eat bugs lol. This is a really good fishing channel to watch. I feel like we know he can survive.
@@JayLee-od8ob I’m not saying he needs to do anything differently.. it was merely an idea. Come talk to me when your idea gets upvoted instead of downvoted into oblivion.
Good video. That white mold on the fish is a free floating fungus called Saprolegniosis, also known as cotton wool disease, not good for a fishery because it’s typically fatal to the fish.
I absolutely love your videos Man and I hate making suggestions but try letting your cast iron pan heat up for a little bit before you put food on it. It's just like stainless steel. It needs to heat up for a little bit otherwise food will stick to it.
Another awesome video bro ! I really loved the location. It’s beauty was only matched by those cuts ! Gorgeous fish ! That method of cooking trout, really goes well with my fish and fowl. Just let me know if you’re running low ! Fish on !!! 🎣
Outstanding video! Great choice of flys. The bald Eagle was so cool. I watched one catch a trout one time in CO I still tell people it’s the coolest thing I’ve ever seen.
If you don’t plan to eat the fish, keep it in the water. There is a good chance that beautiful cutty swam off and went belly up. Gotta keep em wet and help revitalize them before sending them off.
Any tips for setting the hook on dry flies? The past four times I've been out fly fishing all I've gotten bites on were dry flies, (10 in total) and I've the hook set on every single one. Four days fishing, zero fish. I'm starting to getting very discouraged with fly fishing, and don't know what I'm doing wrong.
I don’t dry fly fish very much at all so I’m probably not the best person to ask. But I think just throwing nymphs under an indicator is a good way to build some confidence with fly fishing. At least for me, I just find it easier to catch them doing that. I don’t like dry fly fishing for the same reason. I just have no confidence in it yet.
I’m by no means a great fly fisher and I still miss my fair share of hook sets but I can try to offer some help. I’ve found it helps to fight the instinct to set the hook the moment the fish breaks the surface and just wait a second longer. If you’re fishing current set the hook downstream, on still water I’ve found just lifting the rod in an upward motion rather than back is better.
Forgive me if this is a dumb question but I am learning to fly fish from Texas lol. If Brook trout get found in a pond with cutthroat like you found is that gonna turn out to be bad in the long run for the cutthroat or the brook trout or is it best for both species? Loving your channel btw.
Love the content man, been a subscriber for a quick second now. Just wondering are you in Colorado? I’m 20 and from Denver and I have no one cool to fish with, let me know if it’s worth it to shoot you over a email bro, and fish on
