Fly Fishing On The River Blackwater 

Some years ago I tried my hand at fly fishing for the first time and if you will pardon the pun, I was 'hooked'. Over the years I have tried yoga and meditation but let me tell you this wins hands down. I was so busy focusing on staying upright in the water and feeling the rod in my hand that my mind was quiet. Longueville House, just outside Mallow in County Cork is a Georgian country manor offering exclusive rental and probably hands down some of the best fly fishing waters in Ireland. Dan O'Neill was my ghillie on the River Blackwater.
