How lucky are we! Having found a flight using miles we couldn't say no to flying onboard such an incredible airplane the A380. Not just that but in Qatar's amazing First class product.

Great video, really enjoyed watching this! When Qatar ordered the A380, I think it was jumping on the band wagon mainly as Emirates had loads on order as well as an order from rival Etihad, so Qatar didn't want to get left in the wind. But the A380 definitely has its place for Qatar, especially on the London Heathrow flights!

Haha yes, Emirates clearly was we have some let's buy many many more. Where as Qatar and Etihad bought a small fleet of them. It's always a pleasure onboard the A380 no matter what class. You're trip looked fun. As I discovered a long time to be in Economy 😴

You're too kind 😂 was probably the warm hot towel and the excitment. Such a beautiful way to travel. We also tried the back of the plane in economy but that's coming out later. Both were very good! Thanks for supporting us 💚👍

Great review. Been looking to try out Qatar First for a long time. With limited availability and timing for these flights down to 2 options but as both QR834 (Doha to Bangkok), your flight and QR900 (Doha to Perth) are both 2AM flights, by the looks of the menu's posted here they are quite limited in their offerings. The other option is QR 828 (DOH-BKK) during the day on the old Cathay 777. What would you do - go for the A380 to tick it off (Have done Emirates A380 and 777 Gamechanger, BA 787 and Singapore A380 Suites) so looking to eventually try them all.

There are so many factors to consider. The 787 is smaller so less time waiting to get of and collect your bags. You would be amazed how long it takes to unload the baggage from an A380! Personally I'd probably always pick an A380 but Q Suite is a joy. The First Class is wonderful but doesn't feel as private when it's busy. Either way you are bound to have an amazing service on Qatar 🇶🇦✈️
