Fly Tying: Galloup's Mini Boogie Man 

Kelly Galloup's Mini Boogie Man is as the name states a scaled down version of the full sized Boogie Man. There are a few minor material substitutions, but overall, this pattern is very similar to the original. The mini can be a very successful pattern 365 days of the year, but it seems to be most effective in certain conditions. Cold winter water temps, pure bright days when profile seems to be the key, and in gin clear water where a bigger pattern can sometimes deter fish from leaving their cover.
