Fly Tying: The Klinkhammer Dry Fly

Hans Van Klinken designed the Klinkhammer to fool the most selective of trout. The special hook design allows for a portion of the fly to remain below the surface film while giving the floating properties of a standard parachute dry. It also allows for a better hook-up rate because of the bend of the hook which was initially done to help with the smaller mouthed grayling. No matter the species your targeting, having a few of these will help your fishing success.
Material List:
Hook: Daiichi 1160 #10-20
Body: Tan Super Fine Dubbing
Post: Medium Dun Snowshoe Rabbit
Thorax: 2-3 Peacock Herls
Hackle: Barred Ginger
