Fly Tying: The Rainbow Riffle Variant 

The Rainbow Riffle Variant is a result from a failed attempt at a triple version of the original Rainbow Riffle Special. I found that the swim and action was good, but the profile was off. So, I scaled it down to a traditional articulated streamer and the end product was too good to ignore. It has the sought after "S" swim along with a profile that imitates a baitfish. This pattern flat out hunts!
