Flyfishing for Cherry Trout and White-Spotted Char in Japan |  

I was headed to Japan for vacation and when in Japan...Ya gotta eat fish... and catch fish. This was my first time to fly fish in Japan so I contacted Ebi with Trout and King Fishing Tours. Ebi and Company have many destinations in which they guide and areas just outside of Tokyo is where I was looking to fish.
Ebi picked me up at my hotel and we were off to Tanzawa-Ōyama Quasi-National Park. Tanzawa-Ōyama Quasi-National Park is a quasi-national park in the Kantō region of Honshū in Japan.
Ebi put me onto so many fish to include the American Rainbow Trout and the wild and native Yamame and Iwana - two new species I've never caught before. The Yamame is also known as Cherry Trout or Cherry Salmon and the Iwana is a White Spotted Char.
