Another piece of Automata by me, this time a flying Dragon. The houses are around 3 - 4 mm tall, a teeny tiny bit of an inch. It was interesting creating this piece, I've made mini houses before but never anything so small. And I loved creating the landscape too, something I will do again as it was a fascinating process thinking in such tiny scale. The Dragon, well... I love sculpting Dragons so he was an absolute delight. :)
WHY ART ON THE CHANNEL?!!
Hello friends! So as well as creating Fairytale content for RU-vid, in the 'real world' I am actually an artist. I create all sorts of sculptural pieces, wearable art jewellery and art dolls, automata and ethical taxidermy. If I can sculpt it, sew it, crochet it or carve it I will do!!
So, as I love my Fairytale Fairy channel I thought I would like to add some of the pieces from my art world, with little videos about my art and Marc's art too. As you can imagine they are always quirky or delightful, characterful and folkloric... and pretty much always created to make people smile. Sometimes my pieces find new homes, and I wanted to start to record them as I finish them so I always have a record and the memories of creating them :)
