As requested I'm gonna do a tutorial series on how to fly on vatsim and do proper radio work. We'll cover all the necessary ATC-Phraseology for all stages of flight and we'll look into how to come up with and file a flight plan.

Thanks for the explanation, going to see all the episodes, 300hours on vatsim and I don't know how to do helicopter procedures neither flying them. Thanks for the help again.

Very helpful introduction for newbies to ATC and Vatsim, thank you! Do you have any experiences with VR? Is there a kind of note pad plug-in which is accessible in VR, to write things down before the flight as you suggested, to be able to read them in VR? Is the xPilot plug-in accessible in VR as well?

Thanks, haven't switched to VR yet. There is a payware Addon called Electronic Flight Bag that I believe has a Note Pad for VR. As far as frequencies go I use a Saitek Radio Panel to dial them in. You could use one of these for VR flying as well. Xpilot should show in VR. Try the latest version. Greetz

That's the one. Flight model is quite good. Unfortunately it sounds like a lawn mower and You can't do a realistic start-up. 3D model seems to be from the old FS9 Nemeth Model. Other than that it's usable...
