I did the move from Midwest with cold/salty cars to Southern California 12 years ago. All I see now are tons of clean clean cars vs the Midwest. You can take the car apart with a Dollar Store tool set vs rusty bolts needing torches to get off. It was a very good move for everyone in the family.
OSB is probably one of the least durable materials to use in a trailer named "Durable Trailers" 😂 cool looking trailer on the outside though. Best of luck with the move Craig!!🙏
Craig , I wish you and your family the best of luck in your move. I get why you're going. My wife and I live in the Hudson valley of new york state and we spend a part of late fall, winter and early spring at our 2nd home in Ormond Beach, Florida. We spend 4-6 weeks there , then come back for two weeks to the cold and it makes us really appreciate getting away from the winter. We could never spend the whole winter in New York anymore.
Good Luck with the Move Craig. The car business has changed tremendously in the last 3 years. Scailing down is the best move to do. I did this with my shop as well and more diversified. Would love to see some auction videos down in Florida. Keep grinding man!
Good luck on your move to Fl. Moved in 1987 from Mass. Lived & worked WPB for 30+ yrs. Then Moved to Ocala. Recently bought a home in Maine for summer. Best of both worlds. Winter in Fl & summer in Maine. The Best decision I ever made. Your kids will luv it. It takes about 2 yrs to get use to weather. Good luck & always enjoyed your story. & videos. FYI. 14 years ago my wife and I decided to move from metro Boston to Naples, Fl. I am guessing we were a few years younger than you at the time. Other than the summer we enjoyed our first year in SW Florida but as time wore on, we realized this wasn't for us and missed the Northeast. Hesitant to get back into Boston winters, we found an alternative and moved to Cape Cod , where it rarely snows and the winters are milder than the Boston area. It was our best moving decision. On a side note, it was remarkable how many couples and families that had relocated to Florida, also moved back to their home states, the Carolinas, Tenn or mid Atlantic region. I remember some of the early videos where Craig moaned and groaned and cried and complained about people who ask for deals, but true to form, he doesn’t mind putting the bite on his high school friend who now makes trailers for a living. Craigs duplicity is not lost on me. Ugh.

It be a few year journey but 3 to 5 cars at a time small manageable. W New Hampshire keeping personal cash flow going plus all your other streams. Document it and we will watch and see you win. Cars here in the south, we have no issues with rust much. No snow here, so no salt to damage cars. Like changing brakes are easy. They have zero issues.
Good luck with the move. The good news is your recon time for getting vehicles lot ready will be cut in half since you wont have to worry about rust repair!
I'm from Nashua NH....lived in Florida for 16 years...the heat just wears on you year after year. Moved to Eastern NC 5 years ago....much more affordable-insurance, taxes, utilities etc.....summers while hot nowhere near as bad or humid as Florida and it doesn't rain almost every afternoon in summers. Winters are pretty moderate here as well. I'm sure the insurance has skyrocketed on my previous house in Florida and when I looked up the property taxes they've more than tripled. I do miss the striper and blues fishing up north though.
I was the buyer for Heritage Toyota for years and moved to The Villages, Florida. Welcome to the best state in the country and like you said. Insurance is expensive but taxes are not.
I’m from Alabama & went to college in FL. II never lived in the snow but I can guarantee you won’t miss winter! I’d rather be hot & sweaty for most the year than ice & snow 1 day!
Doesn’t matter they keep their state free of democrats If possible remember when they ran away from their own states all to red ones yeah they don’t want their vote to turn blue when they’re not smart enough to know why they left to begin with

Always thought we would move to Florida, as my wife grew up there. Once we retired we spent some time there. I cannot handle the heat and humidity month after month. Hope it works out for you though.

Good luck down in Florida I had a house in Florida, Punta Gorda and my home in Virginia. The house in Florida. I sold it because it's so hot down there. the only time you can come out is in the wintertime. The rest of the time. It's so hot you don't want to be out. So good luck with that. Plus the insurance on the house, and Tax on the house. The only good thing. There's no personal property on your cars.I forgot about the Hurricanes you have to deal with
