She said once that the song was about a failed relationship and how we often try to make sense out of things we don't understand, but at the end of it all, if you look closely, it's all about Jesus. God has a purpose for everything and if He takes something from you it's because it does not fit His purpose for your life. Hope this helps answering your question ;)
This video gives me chills. The gentle-ness of the acoustic but the power of Lacey and everyone else all singing together and not letting the power going out stop them from singing this beautiful, inspiring, breath-taking song. I know it sounds lame but it made me tear up =)
I feel so blessed that this magical moment was captured on video. They all felt how special it was. The band and the audience both. I can't even imagine the emotions that were felt when that song was over. It gives me chills everytime I watch it.
thats the power of god people..he takes away things to see if you can handle it n not give up!! these people are freaking amazing n help people keep faith!! thats a powerful moment right there with tons of people singing along with them as well...i give them hard kudos for still playing no matter what they were given!
that's really cool how they still performed with no electrcity just thier guitars and voices that's really cool to see that. I love all of theirs songs!! :D
seeing a concert like this has to be one of the best experiences of anyones life! i would have LOVED to be there no concert could have beaten that ever!
Oh man, it's always great to see the audience singing along through thecwhole venue, not just during the hits. This was amazing, shook me to the core :)
OMG ! that is so so so sweet !! this is one of the most amazing preformances i've ever seen in my life ! this is so awsum ! lacey and the rest put so much effort on this and usualy other bands would quit and not do a show but they actually did it in the heat and with not even lights or a mic. thats just so heartwarming
@darien2009 (I'm not rubbing it in) I've met them and I swear they are the nicest people ever! Jared stood and talked to me and my friends for like 10 minutes before going over and meeting everyone else. I can't get over how amazing they are! It's like they don't care that they're famous, they're just everyday people. They love their fans as much as we love them
the one and only time i got to watch the band perform live was during this performance. It was at the white rabbit in san antiono TX the power came back on later and they did the entire show over again with power it was truely a unforgettable experience. I wish i could of seen them live one more time before lacey left. God I miss her music
I can't find this version anywhere. D:> 'Chorus romance says goodnight, close your eyes and I'll close mine, remember you, remember me, hurt the first, the last, between.' I don't hear that bit in the 'official' version of the song they released.
wow she must really love her music all through the video she was jumping around and clapping and raising her hands and holding herself. Look at the guy next to her, he looks like he is having a panic attack, and is trying to out sing everyone.
@sambeaner09 i wouldn't be surprised if the enemy made sure the power had cut out to hinder them, theres been times in my life when i'm about to recieve a great blessing or be a blessing to others and he tries to prevent it but in the name of Jesus i keep going! :-D
